I was worried because nearly all the 5 star reviews were vine reviews, and liking something you got for free is different than liking something you spent money on. I really needed a new vanity stool and this was $40 on sale for the grey only and grey was the one I wanted so I decided I'd take a chance. It wasn't hard to put together at all; some reviews are like "this is easy to put together" and when you get it, it shows up in three thousand pieces and the instructions are in swahili or something. This was literally 6 pieces and the screws, and I don't actually know if there WERE directions, because I didn't need them. I didn't even have to get my own screwdriver out because it comes with a little metal thing that fits the screws. It's not tall, and I actually thought it would be too short, but if it was much taller it wouldn't fit under my vanity. I wouldn't store anything heavy in it, but it's enough room to keep my packs of febreze small spaces inside and it gets them out from under the bathroom counter so I love that. In the pictures the legs look brassy and kind of cheap, but the ones I got were a softer, almost satin finish gold. It could be a little less gold, but shoved under my vanity, you can't tell. It's so much prettier and more comfortable than what I last had (which isn't saying much) and I'm super happy with it. Unless it collapses or something—though it feels sturdier than it looks—it was WELL worth the money

For the price it feels like great quality. It came with everything I needed to assemble it and was very quick. I like the texture and it is the perfect height for my ikea desk. It even has storage for the inside, so like if you wanted to hide something, that would be the perfect place to hide it :D

Edit: added a star for great customer service. When the store saw my review they reached out and offered me a full refund. Gorilla Glue fixed the issue in case anyone else has this same issue. The main reason I purchased this was for the color and the fact it has storage. The color is exactly what I wanted. Packaged very nicely. Easy to put together. Storage is big enough to hold multiple hair tools. Sturdy when sat on. I took off two stars because three days after we got this the backing to the top came off which is what keeps the top in place on the base. I’ve hammered it back on and glued it multiple times but it keeps coming off. Now when my daughter sits on it the top slides around. I’m going to try a more heavy duty glue but if that doesn’t work I’ll just have to deal with it. This stool got great reviews so maybe I just got a defected one 🤷🏻♀️

after reading bad reviews i was worried it’ll come damaged and weak, the fabric on the stool is so soft, the assembly was so easy i did it without even looking at the book and the legs feel pretty sturdy solid metal, i just got it today we will see how it holds up but its very good
