  • The moss fits beautifully in my water scape.
Pattern Name: Java Moss
Makes a huge, positive difference in my fish bowl. The only thing that I didn’t expect was that it bleeds green into the water. I should have expected it but I didn’t.

  • Java fern w driftwood will look great on arrival but is doomed to die in a few months.
Pattern Name: Java Fern (S)
The media could not be loaded. ETA: Greenpro customer service is excellent. I received a quick refund for this item because it did not work for me, so I've upped my original stars from 1->3. I still wouldn't recommend this particular item, but I wouldn't hesitate to order from greenpro at all. My anubias nana on lava is beautiful, and my friends' orders from them have all been healthy on arrival and stayed that way. I always wait to post reviews of items, and this is a perfect example of why. My java fern on driftwood arrived looking beautifully healthy attached to a piece of nice driftwood. It was well packaged, arrived on time, and I put it in my nano tank. I got a lot of compliments, it really did look beautiful. That was in mid-July. Unfortunately, since then I've experienced increasing leaf loss from the fern, getting to the point where I couldn't clean the tank without major leaf loss. And today upon removing the driftwood, all of the leaves just pulled out of the driftwood. I didn't know much about aquatic plants when I bought this, other than that java fern were supposed to be hardy and amenable to low light. I subsequently learned about rhizome plants, and their need for the rhizome not to be buried - otherwise it rots. The rhizome is the "base" for all of the leaves, so it makes sense that if the rhizome rots, all of the leaves fall off. So, with added experience, I now know that this product, with the fern embedded in a drilled hole in driftwood, is doomed to fail. I'm extremely dissappointed that greenpro markets this, given that they surely know this will eventually happen, just months after sale. My anubias attached to lava rock is still attractive and healthy. But my distaste over the fern will keep me from trusting them in the future. I hate it when retailers sell you something they know isn't going to last, especially when it's a living thing. I've attached pictures of the the leaves that just fell out and the driftwood with a drilled hole. You can see the rotting from the bottom of the leaves, and the unhealthy stems. I've also included a picture of my tank on initial receipt, just to show you how deceptive initial health can be. ... show more

  • Good product but smaller than expected
Pattern Name: Anubias Petite Lava Stone
Caveat that I’m writing this only 2 days after delivery: Plant is beautiful and appears to be in good health. No indications of snails. Only complaint is that it is really small, much smaller than pictured but still within the lower end of the 1” to 3” size listed in the posting. For the price I was just expecting something closer to the size in the photos. ... show more

  • I thought it died in my mailbox
Pattern Name: Anubias Petite Lava Stone
The media could not be loaded. I forgot about this in the mailbox for 4 days from delivery. 😬 and I thought it died since outside temp is at 20-35 F and without sunlight. Opened the package and found healthy green leaves and roots. Currently in quarantine just to make sure! This is my third live plants I ordered from Greenpro and I am satisfied. I would say it is a little expensive than the ones I buy in pet store 4-6$ more, but its worth it for the new plant addition to my tank. Plants I can't find locally. ... show more

  • Cute little plant
Pattern Name: Anubias Petite Lava Stone
This is a nice healthy little plant. It's perfect, a great size to move around the tank until I figure out where I want to put it permanently.

  • Just watch out for snails!
Pattern Name: Bolbitis Heteroclita Difformis
Product came fast, but honestly could've been packed up a little better IMO. It was bagged, and at one point I'm sure it was in a thermal envelope, but no other packing materials were in the "flat rate" USPS Box so there was a lot of banging around the box during shipping and the plant bag was out of the thermal envelope when I opened the bag. Probably should have had at least one or two air pack bubbles in there or something. As soon as I pulled the bag containing my Plant/Wood out of the box, you could see 2 snails in the bag. They weren't on my plant, so not a big deal. Made an alum bath for the plant and let it soak for about 15 minutes so all the loose bits and remaining snails, if any, would die. Pulled the plant, gave it a rinse and put it in my tank, yet somehow, 2 more snails appeared after some time. My Betta (Lazlo) made short work of them though. I understand how hard it is to NOT have travelers when dealing with aquatic plants, but if you're going to say you guarantee no disease, algae or pest snails...then there shouldn't be any, otherwise change the wording to "We strive/try our absolute best to ensure...." or something along those lines. All that being said, my plant was healthy and alive and is doing well in Lazlo's tank until it gets transfered into my shrimp tank I'm making. I'm very happy with it and despite the snails, I would purchase from this seller again. ... show more

  • Smaller than expected but good!
Pattern Name: Anubias Petite Lava Stone
We have a 3 gallon tank for our Betta fish. I was hoping to have a plant a little bigger but should’ve looked at the description better. Time will tell how this plant survives. It is supposed to be one of the easiest, so we will see. But we are satisfied with this purchase! And I think “Boba” is as well! We bought this fish for our little girls. They seem pretty happy with it! And our fish seems happy as well! ... show more
