It's not bad it's exactly what I expected. It's the perfect size it has some weight to it it feels sturdy and I like the way it looks. I didn't care for the silver legs so I got a can of spray paint for six bucks I wanted them to look more Chrome-silver. Now as for the doors and everyone saying that they had trouble with them and they're janky... that they don't roll or slide with ease. That would be because you rushed... and used elbow grease. It's not a hugely expensive piece of furniture, it's machine precision. You cannot shove the screws in or any of the other elements and expect a smooth result. Twist everything in by hand if it's not straight and you're having trouble and pushing it ...you don't have it lined up correctly. Redo it by hand and I tell you get it straight, if you're still having trouble try another screw. Everything is pre-drilled. If you take your time watch the video on how to install it actually read the directions make sure all the screws and everything is flush and flat... everything has to go in perfectly straight. I also recommend the bolt locks put them in after the bolt is inserted so you can see that the tip is going to lock underneath it be gentle turn it gently it will stay in place. If you're using elbow grease to put this together... it's not going to work properly or look good. And I promise you it's going to take you longer. ... show more

    • Simple/basic design but SO many assembly parts...

I have m a n y opinions about this particular vanity/desk because I purchased it after looking at multiple different options on Amazon & put it together myself. According to the 'assembly instructions' booklet, there are 18 individual pieces that need to be put together. While that may not sound like a lot to some, there are also 144 small parts that are included in the package. (After putting this vanity together [with a fresh set of acrylic nails & literally after a couple of hours], I had a few left over pieces...). Before ordering this piece, I would encourage you to do a mental check-in to see if you're ready to manage 162 individual pieces- to set up one small piece of furniture. It comes with 2 tools for assembly: 1 small screwdriver & 1 hex/allen key (shaped like an L & had to Google name). If you decide to move forward... personally, I would encourage you to be in a good headspace (patient/calm), to have some back-up help on standby, to wear a pair of protective gloves (my primary hand got irritated from all of the screws that needed to be driven), & to give yourself a pat on the back if you are able to successfully put it all together correctly. Dimensions: Vanity: 31 1/2 inches Top level of vanity: 31 inches length and 4 1/2 inches width 2 drawers: 13.25 inches length and 9.75 inches width 3 sections on top: 4 1/2 inches height and 9 1/2 inches width (height of the 3 sections are TOO SMALL to fit the majority of my makeup bottles/containers standing upright (i.e. mascara, lip-gloss, eyebrow gel, makeup brushes, and perfume bottles, etc.) which is unfortunate and I need to purchase a separate holder to keep them upright- which limits the amount of available surface level on main portion of the vanity and on the top of vanity. These 3 sections should be at least 7 or 8 inches (vs. 4 1/2 inches) to allow enough space for these basic vanity items to fit into and to increase the amount of surface area available on vanity- for there to be an actual purpose of the 3 sections... Since this 31 inch vanity does not come with a mirror, there are options to customize the size/quality of mirror you want to add. The smallest option for a decently sized mirror (from another seller) is 12x12 inches which means that if you get a 12 inch mirror, you are only left with 19 1/2 inches of surface area to store other items. It might be good to purchase a mirror that has a stand so you can fit other items underneath the mirror. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Good size desk but too bad the drawers sit crooked, it comes in a lot of pieces, takes a long time to assemble, drawer does not open smooth it gets stuck and you have to force it shut and the stickers to cover the hstdware don't even stick well or match. My daughter was very disappointed and sad that her Christmad gift was so far from whatvwe thought we were getting. ... show more
