Easy to install, and very sturdy. I did not buy this for the head of the bed, but for the foot. My feet would come off the bed to the floor and my wife was afraid I would fall off the bed. Which I did one time. This is very nice, it does not take much space but adequate I would recommend this for two reasons, the size and the length of the support under the mattress. It does not give like some shorter ones would. The two knobs on the side, make it easy to turn it down so that you change the sheets with it not being in the way. Highly recommend.     • The bed rail gives me confidence!
Our bed is slightly higher than it was before and I have shrunk. The Rail helps me in and out of bed and helps me rollover onto my preferred sleeping position. It easily folds down to make and change the bed. The pouch keeps my glasses safe and has a place for the book I am currently reading.

I like that the bar under the mattress is long and slides in over half of a full size mattress. It is very easy assembly considering there were no instructions sent. I was able to use the picture on the box to put it together.
