I have old-fashioned pinking shears that belonged to my mother and some that I had purchased at an estate sale. They are super heavy. Over the years, they have lost their ability to cut fabric.So I purchased this new pair. Right out of the packaging I could tell the weight was very impressive. And I was not disappointed when I tried it out on fabric. It cuts like butter. The size is perfect and they are comfortable to use. I would buy them over and over again if necessary. But hopefully these will maintain their ability to cut through fabric for years to come. My little little prompt is wanting to give colors and accuracy. Well, they are extremely accurate. The zig zag is small, but perfect for fabric edges and the color is white and green. What can I say they are as depicted in the photograph? They coordinate with several other tools in my sewing room. These pinking shears are fantastic! They are made very well and cut perfectly! I have used them for several projects now. They are much nicer than I even expected them to be! I’m so impressed with these scissors, they give very precise sharp cuts even with short snips. I could wish they were lighter and required less hand strength, but I expect it’s their sturdy construction that produces the clean cuts. I definitely recommend them
