I got this as a backup paddle. I like that it's fully adjustable so I can size it for myself or for my kids. The coupling in the middle either sticks too tight and is near impossible to unscrew, or it's loose enough that it will need to be retightened several times throughout the day. The paddle works great the length is great the weight is great but it does screw together instead of clipping together and once it gets wet it is really hard to get a part

This is a well-crafted paddle. I love the telescope ability. It will serve you in a kayak or on a sup board. It is a little heavier than a typical kayak paddle. Since it collapses, you can store it (no need to unscrew) in the belly of your kayak as an emergency paddle. Very satisfied.
