Sometimes the bed linens are bothersome over my incision, so I place this pillow on my shin & it keeps the sheets off. I know some reviewers said it is too small, but I think it depends what you are using it for. Also, when the pillow arrived, it is flat in a vacuum sealed bag. I wondered how it was going to puff up. I needed a little pillow and this one is great. When it first arrived, I thought I had the wrong order as the pillow was folded in half, thus it was half the size I had expected. After I took it out of the packaging, it filled up and straightened out to the correct size. It is very soft, yet firm, and comfy.
