First, I didn't buy this to use in the shower (no magnets). I have a large sliding door in my dining room and it get very cold in the wintertime. I also have a black cat (not mine) who has adopted me and likes to see outside. Therefore I took down the "sheet" curtain that I had there to block the cold air and replaced it with this shower curtain. For the money it was a great option. I have a long shower rod on my patio door. This curtain came with hooks to hang it and the cat and I are both happy. He can see outside and my room still stays warmer than it would be without the curtain. This works great for this application and I wouldn't hesitate to use for a bathroom either. out of the package, this was VERY stiff. the first shower or two with it, it was very stiff & kept annoyingly touching me. after about 4 days it finally relaxed enough to where it's hanging nicely. it's very thick & clear so it feels durable & lets in a ton of light. the thickness is great for keeping the draft out of a hot shower! i live in a disgusting water district where the water molds & stains everything orange, so we'll how this holds up.
