If you bake bread, freeze meat, feed a sourdough starter or anything that needs to be measured I would strongly recommend this scale! I never knew how convenient it would be to measure out portions in baggies for the freezer. Now I don’t know what I was doing before. I love to cook, can and bake and realized that sometimes it is better to use weight instead of measuring (especially for flour). You do need to put your empty bowl or container on it before turning on, then add your ingredient to get a what seems to be an accurate reading. I bought this about 8 months ago and use it about 3-5 times a week. It's small enough to fit in a drawer but large enough to hold a glass mixing bowl. Pretty easy to wipe down and clean too. This snake fits nicely into our family. It measures everything well, even yeast, which can be tricky by weight sometimes. It also doesn't have a loud beep when it turns on like our last one which scared the little dog. This snake gets a lot of use on our home and turns on and dies it's job great every day. Solid scale for large kitchen needs. On the lower numbers, it does struggle to keep up and is slow to update. For anything under 100 grams I’ll use my smaller scale with is faster. This one is nice for doughs and mixing large batches. Basic features like zero and switching units is easy. I believe there’s more but the only buttons I use are “on” and “zero” ... show more

Purchased this little scale based on other reviews and it does not disappoint. It's sleek looking and seems to be spot on accurate. First thing I did was to place a 200g weight and as you can see from my pictures, it matched the weight. The tare function is super easy as is switching the different measurement units. I also tested the tare function with the 200g weight and it registered the weight properly. I've only had it for 2 days so we'll see how long it lasts! Such good quality for such a low price! I have used this scale hundreds of times and it still works as if brand new! I can’t choose if my favorite part is how easy to clean it is or how convenient it is for storage! The quality couldn’t get any better and it has the perfect amount of sensitivity!

This food scale is very reliable in our home. It does the job well and gives accurate measurements, as well as a sleek look. You can fit a lot onto the scale. I'm also impressed that this one is waterproof, which makes it easy to clean. This is worth the price, its like perfection.
