    • Do you need a smart scale?

This scale mainly has 2 features, and how much that is worth to you is up to you. I think this is an excellent scale at a great price. (1) Syncs the weight of the scale with the app. It makes it super easy to not have to input the weight or portion, I just search and item, place it on the scale, and it adjusts the portion size in the app. (2) Syncs the nutrition data from the app. The scale essentially reads out what it tells you in the app. So after you've selected a food and it's weighed it, it adjusts the nutrition numbers in the app and on the scale. Note: it only syncs with Fitbit, so if you use something else you'll have to migrate to this app. Now is it that worth it? You could buy a cheaper scale and transfer the weight yourself and any food tracking app would do the work for you, but this scale executes it in a great way with a great app that works easily with it.     • Solid Little Scale - Accurate & Convenient (But a Few Minor Quirks)

I recently purchased this Food Kitchen Scale to help with portion control and baking, and overall, I'm pretty happy with it. For the price, it's a great little helper in the kitchen. One of the things I immediately appreciated is how light and compact it is. It doesn't take up much counter space at all, and it's easy to store away in a drawer when I'm not using it. The stainless steel platform is easy to wipe clean, which is a definite plus after dealing with sticky ingredients. The accuracy seems pretty decent. I've tested it against some known weights, and while it's not perfect, it's certainly accurate enough for my needs. The tare function works well, allowing me to easily weigh ingredients in bowls without having to do any math. I’ve found it particularly useful for measuring ingredients for bread making. However, there are a couple of things that prevent me from giving it a full 5 stars. First, the display, while clear, can be a little difficult to read in certain lighting conditions. Also, I am not really liking buttons, sometimes, it doesn't register my press, which can be a bit frustrating when I'm trying to quickly tare the scale or switch units. The scale is okay, it gets the job done. Ultimately, this Food Kitchen Scale is a good value for the money. It's accurate enough for most home cooking and baking needs, it's compact and easy to store, and the tare function is a time-saver. Just be aware of the slightly fussy buttons and potentially tricky display in certain lighting.
