I absolutely love this chair and ottoman. It is comfortable and is very well suited for my art studio/living room. It is lightweight and easy to move around. Even though it is well made I would suggest NOT having it in a room with small children. Because it is well worth the $400 I paid for it, it is the price that makes it NON kid friendly. I am 70 and the only one who uses the chair. I keep it covered to preserve it for as long as possible. I currently have it on risers due to some back surgery I've recently had.     • For the money good buy
So, I bought this chair as a study chair for me because I went back to school for nursing. Nursing school requires a lot of reading, writing, and general assignments at home that require sitting so I wanted to be able to sit in supportive comfort while I was doing some of this. After having the chair for 2 months now I can say it deserves a 3.5/4 rating for comfort. To sit for an hour here and there the comfort is fine. But when I need to sit here all day long I feel like my back could use some more support. If you want this for casual use then get it. For the money this is a steal for sure! But if you plan to sit for long periods of time or plan to use it often you should just save your money to buy a nicer chair from a furniture store. I was on a budget so I gave the chair a try, a piece of me wishes I would of just spent the money on a nicer chair even if it was more than what I was wanting to spend. As far as durability, I think it’s fairly durable as I weigh 200lbs and the chair has held up fine so far. I do not feel like it will break on me, but I am careful with the ottoman as I do not trust it’s ability to support me sitting on it. The chair appearance overall is nice, though the fabric up close does not look like high performance material. The assembly was super easy. When it comes in, open the box and check under the chair for a zipper pocket. All the supplies you need should be there. I’m hoping this chair will make it through school with me, but I will need to buy a lumbar pillow for sitting here because it does not help out my back in any form. If it fails me between now and the next 2 years I will update my review. ... show more

I was iffy on how I’d like this chair. The reviews were pretty mixed. It is low, I’m 5’5” and it’s the perfect height for me. It’s firm but not terrible. I sat in it last night for a 3 hour zoom class and I want uncomfortable at all. The color is a great neutral and I love the feel of the material. It comes in a massive box but it’s not overly heavy just awkward. The seat cushion has Velcro to hold it to the seat. Over all I’m thrilled. This chair is amazing for the price! To find a chair and matching ottoman that is regular size and not super tiny is fantastic. It’s easy to put together and comfortable and looks good. Doesn’t look cheap like a lot of chairs do.

Packaged very well, legs tucked into chair bottom. Cool idea. Wrapped and boxed. Completely clean. Fits perfectly in the space I picked in my bedroom...My little reading nook. Great find for a good price. Very sturdy but not as cushiony as I'd like. But I'm ok with that. Thumbs up!

I guess I did not read the fine print.... The chair/ottoman set is nice looking, except for the SHORTNESS of the legs. The cushion is a hard feel. Put a pillow on the chair for my sitting comfort. Legs are easy to assemble, but why does the manufacturer have to stick its "made in China" label on the very front of the leg. The sticker isn't easy to remove and leave a residue.
