This is a small CD /Cassette player/recorder that is simple to use. I wanted it to be able to sort through dozens of old home recordings and reminisce and organize and label them. It has a remote control which comes in handy. But it’s something you have to keep up with. There’s nothing to attach it to the player to keep it from getting misplaced. The sound is pretty good considering it’s a small player. I debated over exchanging it for one with a little better sound quality but I don’t really intend to listen to much music with it on a regular basis. I just want to have it when I get the urge to get out an old tape or CD and take a little trip down memory lane. So I decided this would work just fine for my needs. I did order one before this (a Craig CD Boombox) that I sent back because it was difficult to figure out how to operate it. Not because it was a high tech model but everything was black with no wording on the control buttons and it was hard to see the arrows and figure out what was what and it had a warning sticker that said it contained lead and other toxic materials that were known to cause cause cancer. I gave that one a bad review. The user manual offered very little help. But this one is an okay little cassette/CD player/ recorder for the price. And it doesn’t have any scary warnings about toxic materials. But If you want awesome full sound, you’re going to have to pay more and go with something bigger. ... show more

I LOVE this player! It's attactive, small, portable, has the remote and sounds great! I have just received it and enjoyed it in the kitchen while cooking. I have only used the radio so far, but I am sure I too will love the CD Player (and I think I have a tape or two around the house ;-) ). The company even sent a nice email with tips and tricks and noting how I could get in touch with them if I need any help or have any questions - new company - really appreciate them going above and beyond to make sure I have a great Customer Experience!!
