This accumulator was installed in place of an inline water filter in our B van. I didn't use the included fitting or clamps because I needed elbows to fit in the space with the existing water lines. Once pressurized, we are able to use water without the pump cycling constantly.

We added this accumulator a few camp trips ago and it made a big difference in how often the water pump cycles. The switches within RV water pumps are fairly simple devices and are designed to last something like 10,000 activations. Last year my pump quit only to discover it was the tiny switch inside the pump that caused the failure. I'm pretty handy, so was able to troubleshoot and just replace the switch instead of having to buy a new pump. With this accumulator my pump cycles much less, probably like 10th of what it was before. This should extend pump life considerably. And we get more consistent water pressure at our fixtures.

It quieted the hammering of the water pump in my Rv. Took just 5 minutes to install once I had the right connecting tubing to go between this unit and the water pump. It raised the house water pressure too so the Rv toilet works better. Worth the prices for sure.
