    • Really good amplifier for the price.
I'm very impressed with this amplifier, particularly at its current price. I think it's a great value for the money, and I would absolutely buy it again. I didn't have the highest of expectations given its low price point, but it definitely surprised me. It produces pretty clean power, and truly does seem to meet the advertised specs. I have no way of measuring if it's truly producing 3,000 Watts RMS, but I can say that it's producing more than enough power for my needs. If you're looking to add some bass, or some additional power to your sound system I'd say this is a great option... If you're looking for competition quality, I'm unable to determined whether this would satisfy your needs. I currently have this driving two JL 12s in my truck, and it pushes them fine with no distortion or clipping. All of the wiring connections are robust, and seem to be of high quality. Although I didn't open the amp up to look at the inside... It seems to be very well made. It's pretty heavy, so my experience that tends to be a good sign when it comes to durability and construction of amplifiers.     • Good entry level amp
This 3000W amp is great for an entry level system. If you know how to install wiring for an amplifier, the install is very straight forward as a typical amp. You run your power and grounds as well as a remote shut off wire. The amp includes a remote bass level knob which can be mounted anywhere you prefer in the vehicle. I ran this amp pushing 2 12" subs and at 50% gain it still sounds pretty nice with little distortion. At around 75 gain, and volume at 60% it was a little distorted bass wise but still bearable. I put this at entry level and not a competition level amplifier. The amp does seem to be well made using excellent quality materials. Has good cooling and does not heat much either. ... show more

GRAVITY ASIN: B0B2VGG2M4 MODEL- e3000.1D BLACK BASS SURFACE MOUNT AMPLIFIER with REMOTE CONTROL includes Amp, Mounting Screws, Remote Control with wire, plug, screws and User Manual. User Manual has Warranty Statement ( One Year ), explanation of Amplifier Functionality and Instructions for Installation. Installation information provided in Text and Pictorial format. This was upgrade for aging so swap-out was not a big issue. Took advantage of the larger Power Input Connection upgrading replacing with larger diameter cable. Used my own mounting hardware securing to bulkhead by four corners of amplifier. The REMOTE is an Upgrade Feature for me as previously had no control. I like this feature. The Remote mounts with two screws … provided. Mounted under dash with attached bracket. The unit appears, in my observation, to be Quality Manufacturing. The overall fit and finish is without blemish. The connector(s) are solid to chassis with power input of larger size with screw attachment/ secured directly into power wires. Ground and +12v CLEARLY marked. The Speaker Wires connect into same type connection but smaller size. Included on CONNECTOR PANEL are controls for BASS Boost, Gain plus HIGH & LOW frequency adjust.     • Like any amp over 2,000 Watts this thing needs power
It was a nice solid quality unit. I don't know what happened. All of a sudden it just went bananas! We had another amp handy and just put it in unfortunately this one just had some problems. That doesn't say that all of them do. Sometimes you get one that just ain't right. Amazon made it right as always! ... show more

If you currently have an amp installed this will be an fairly easy swap. If not, it is a lot of work which comes as no surprise, they all are. Once it was installed, it sounds pretty good (but read more for more explanation). I am used to older Fosgate amps for their low distortion. This sounds good to me. Very low distortion, even at higher volumes. Produces very good bass. If you run small subs or say a single this will distort badly, so be aware of that. At 2 10" it distorted at around 35% gain as did 2 12" ,but got closer to 50%. Once we hooked it to 4 12" it did much better at higher volumes, but it still distorted at just shy of 75% gain. I think the 4 12" did best as the box they were in was closed vs ports on the 2 10's and the 2 12's. Dedicating this amp to just the subs and nothing else it sounded good. I am always leary when amps are rated at 3k etc, usually they do distort, and this one is no exception. If you just want thump, then this is fine, but I don't think I would push it hard. This is a great amp to upgrade your car's sound system. It can really handle a lot at 3000W. It's very small for how powerful it is, which makes it great for those with a smaller car or trunk. It was no issue to install at all. I'm very happy with this amp so far.

    • decent amplifier; questionable product support
This amplifier installs like any standard amp and is easy to install. My main concern is any real support from the company backing the product. There is no website or way that I found to contact for customer support. It has a remote control that can be mounted in an accessible location. Its max output is around 2100W so it's important to keep that in mind, so you don't blow it or your speakers. There isn't a huge difference between this model and the 5000; less than 1000W to be exact. Overall, the unit works as it should and seems to be decent quality. ... show more
