Extremely effective against Aedes aegypti
I am surprised how effective this is against Aedes aegypti which have been a nightmare. I haven’t had success with any other type of mosquito control but now with these traps I only see maybe 1 or 2 a day at most. I will be buying these again for sure.

Slows the population down
These seem to slow the mosquito population down. Doesn’t stop them but it’s way better. I put up 2 maybe I’ll try more next year.

Good home mosquito treatment
It's been a few weeks since I put the traps out and it seems to be working pretty well, better than other products I have tried. I've seen a reduction in mosquito bites.

Do not buy
This is worst product ever, purchased 2 pack n put them both on my patio n waited a few days before going outside. When i finally did i got chewed up by multiple mosquitoes, almost as if it helped them grow stronger

THESE ACTUALLY WORK!! My patio is mosquito free FINALLY!!!
I usually don't have the time to write reviews, only if a product is really good, or really bad. Grandpa Gus's Mosquito Trap is one of those rare product that actually works and lives up to its description! I was very skeptical about this, or any mosquito product working for my backyard since I live in an area surrounded by farms and rice fields. Bought a pair of these back in March, followed the instructions, and placed them behind bushes against the corner of my fence on each side, roughly 120ft apart. This spring has been hotter than normal, and the skeeters have been off the charts, even getting swarmed in the middle of the day. I'd say within about a week an a half to two weeks, I could sit on my patio during the day, and not get attacked till dusk, then a couple would show up. No where near how bad they were before I set the two traps out. Couldn't believe these actually worked. Month and a half in now and I can sit on my patio any time without getting eaten alive by those blood suckers! I think I've killed only two or so mosquitos on me this past month, whereas before it was 2 a minute. Would absolutely recommend and will definitely be buying again in 6 months!

Worked okay but for the money I would proabbly go with alternative solutions
We set it up exactly as instructions stated but still got bit up quite a lot. Some people felt like there was a difference while I still felt like I was bit just as much as usual. I don't doubt that it works but I don't think it was as effectively as we were hoping. With some family members saying they left un-harassed by the pests, I believe 3 stars is fair
