I have been having difficulty finding a shade that fits the size of my window which is wider than the length . I was happy to find this shade and even more happy to find it did not need any special installation. The spring end makes it easy to install and a locking mechanism keeps it in place. I have not had any slipping. It does have a tendency to raise up a few inches when lowered but maybe when it relaxes it will stay in place where lowered. The first time I ordered this, it came 10 inches too narrow. I ordered a replacement (took another week) and it's much closer to the correct width, but I still had to use brackets to keep it up - not the 'no tools needed' as promised. After I installed it and added the 'handle', I tested the shade and found that it won't stay down. So, the room darkening shade is worthless and I now have two holes in my window frame. I'm sending it back and finding a different company. Very disappointed.

Love them, but they didn’t hit the sides very well so it didn’t cover a full blackout moment on my window. My window is also a odd size but what it means no drill it means snow drill. It’s totally worth it for apartments houses anything

I think this was made for short windows. Maybe my set came defective but it does not hold at the bottom when you pull it down. I saw another reviewer had the same issue so I think it is safe to say it is not for those who have standard and longer windows. I am giving it two stars because to my surprise the mounting was easy, as advertised, no drilling and it stayed up there. Unfortunately, it is of no use to me if it does not block the full window. Additionally, I didn’t like the paper in the shade. It is very fraile and it is not build to last. To be fair I did expect the materials to be cheap at this price point. My honest review is that this product can still work for people that have short windows and want a very budget, pretty, and easy shade. People who are not going to be fidgeting with the shade too much and have a short window should still consider it. I wanted this to work but I will be returning unfortunately.

I bought two of these, and neither closes all the way—they only go down about three-quarters. I personally don’t mind since I like a bit of light coming through, but if you’re looking for full blackout, be aware you may need to order a slightly longer size. When it does fully close, it blocks out most of the light very well. My window size fell in between their listed options, and I didn’t check the sizing chart carefully. The shade ended up about half an inch too small, so I couldn’t use the no-drill installation and had to drill instead.

Looks great! These are super easy to install and I love how they're flush against the trim of the inside of the window. One side has a little more gap however that could have been my installation error 😅
