When you read that these blinds are Faux wood (vinyl) DO NOT mistake them for the $5 mini blinds from Wally World. I knew that they'd be good when I tried to pick up the package, and had to brace myself and pick it up right, because it was as heavy as wooden blinds would be--not pine, oak or another hardwood. They were a little pricey, but they are the exact mesurements I need to fit intside the frame of the window I'm replacing. They were actually more expensive than the window, itself! Still, I got the window off the marketplace, thrilled to find one that had the exact measurements that I needed fror a fraction of a new replacement window, but if it's hard to find resold windows with the perfect measurements, multilply that by 10 for blinds. I've reluctantly cut some real-wood blinds that I got used, before, but usually if you have a non-standard window size, you have to order them custom at a price that reflects that. they install easily, no surprises, all the necessary hardware and instructions are included. I like that they don't have strings to pull to open and close them so there's a choking hazard eliminated in a seamless manner that gives an elegant flair to the room. The window is west facing, so I needed them to be as close to blackout as I could get, and I was pleased to discover that they're built to do just that. Not only are they stylish, high quality, and useful to block light, the material is thick enough that it helps insulate the space from the hot afternoon sun that always plagued that room. I'm highly pleased with these and would recommend them without problem.

I have always hated slat blinds, but the cheap ones that you can get are thin, brittle vinyl that break too easily, don't move up or down right, and are always uneven. These blinds don't have any of those problems. I love the thick style of these, and they are easy to clean, which is important since mine are mounted over the kitchen sink. One of the key things that sets these blinds apart from others that I have used are the brackets that mount them to the wall. I have mounted many blinds, and none of them mount as securely as these do. The installation was easy too, it took about a minute. These are corded blinds, which is nice as the cords always made things difficult, but that means that there is a spring mechanicsm that needs to be used every once in a while, or it will lose the ability to stay up, but this is true of all cordless blinds. I will definitely be replacing the rest of my old slat blinds with these going forward.

I bought these Grandekor faux-wood blinds for my short bathroom window. My window's specific size was available, and these blinds will fit the space well. The blinds we've previously owned were purchased at a big-box discount store. They tend not to last terribly long, especially if young children or cats play with them. They look cheap. In contrast, these faux wood blinds are thick, sturdy, and classy. They don't need a pull cord, so it's easy to adjust their height by simply moving your blinds to their correct position. They have the usual rotating rod to adjust the amount of light you need. These blinds are a good value considering their quality. We haven't installed them quite yet, so I'll plan to edit this review (if needed) once we get them up.

The media could not be loaded. We grabbed these for a window being changed out in a few weeks but feel we can still show them off really nicely - As you can see the slats on these blinds are very solid and wide like an office type blind and should easily block out most light when closed completely if you choose that. Doing an inside the frame mount will be a little better for room darkening but ours will be an outside mount which will still work very well - Extremely solid build all around with a very smooth operation as well as far as up and down and opening and closing the tilt on the slats as well. - It does come with nice hardware although I will probably go even bigger as we tend to abuse things now and again and I've got tons of screws. That being said, the screws in the package are just fine as well to mount this big heavy duty blind without issue - In the past we've always used the mini blinds which eventually fail or the vertical blinds which are also nice but I have a feeling these will be the premier units in our home now after seeing how nice they really are although I'll still need one vertical blind for the living room as the dog always like to open that up to watch the squirrels and I can't see him operating these as nicely as just smashing his face between the verticals - Overall everything is very excellent with these blinds and I can see a long life to them

These blinds are very thick and sturdy- they look and feel like real wood. All of the pieces were included to install them. I chose inside mounting and did not end up using the central bracket or the triangles, yet the blinds are still very secure. They push up and pull down easily enough- there is a bit of tension when raising or lowering them but that makes it easy to see that they are not going to move on their own. They hold their position well wherever I stop pulling them down. The spinning rod tilts the slats evenly. They look very nice and overall I am very pleased with them. The only complaint that I have is I didn't think the included instructions were very good. This is not a difficult item to install and the quality and function are great so I didn't feel that it warranted the removal of a star, but the instructions definitely could've been better.
