Amazing car seat. The swivel is so nice. The fabrics are high quality. The seat back adjustment is super handy, how it moves the shoulder strap location with it. The SnugLock is awesome. It can help people that aren’t as strong to get the car seat securely mounted. I also just took this car seat for a flight. It does indeed fit in an aircraft seat rear facing or front facing. If it’s front facing, your kid can kick the seat in front of them. If it’s rear facing, the back of the car seat touches the seat in front. So the passenger in front of the car seat will feel some movement, but thats better than kicking. To fasten the car seat into the airplane seat (rear facing), I tried the lap belt through the base where the anchor straps normally go, but almost got the seat stuck because I tightened the plane seat belt, but there’s no room to unlatch the plane seat belt. I barely got it out. I found the best way is to loop the plane belt around the base as pictured. The car seat is quite heavy, and you definitely need a “car seat hand truck” for the airport which can be bought on Amazon for around $40, and folds to fit in the overhead. When the car seat is on the hand truck, it won’t fit down the isle. You have to remove the car seat and carry it down the isle. If you have an extra helper it will be much easier, but I was able to do this by myself with my two year old. ... show more

At first I wasn't so sure about this car seat until my husband convinced me that this is the one. Well, this is the one. We wanted a car seat that will stay in the car, separate from the ones that has a carrier you clip in and out. The car seat functions well, i like that it turns towards me to make it easier to put baby in and out safely. The seat is extremely secured in my car. The padding holds baby's head up pretty well, minus his 90 degre sleeping position he likes to slip into every once in a while. I also like the idea that it grows with baby, making it money well spent on a quality item that can be used over time. I would definitely recommend this seat. ... show more

Such an amazing product! We love that is swivels. Definitely worth the money (although we did wait until prime day to buy it). Very bulky for travel we found a dolly that works for strapping it down. I had one airline tell me it was too big for the plane but it fit great on Delta.

    • A substantial seat that's worth the investment - how can you put a price on safety?
I purchased this specific seat sthat Mimi and Pop's car seat matched the one in his parents' vehicle. Installation isn't difficult (the first time was a little fussy but very doable) and my grandson is quite comfortable in it. He feels safe in it and we feel the same way.

First off, installation is kinda annoying. I will say, I love that it’s so safe and that’s why it’s so annoying to install. This is NOT the seat if you share a seat for multiple cars. It’s not easy to take in and out and it’s heavy. But it is safe! And the turn to me aspect is AMAZING!!! It makes the rear facing way way easier to take your kid in and out, especially if they fight you at all. I love that it’s easy to clean, too. It’s great that it grows with your kid and it’s adjustable but you need to make sure you know when to adjust it to your kids size or it’s less safe. Overall, great car seat! ... show more
