The Graco Tranzitions 3-in-1 Harness Booster is designed to grow with your child and go with you, wherever your journeys take you—from car to carpool and beyond. This lightweight car seat transitions seamlessly from harness booster (26.5-65 lb) to highback booster (40-100 lb) to backless booster (40-100 lb) and features the Simply Safe Adjust Harness System, which adjusts your harness and headrest to 9 height positions, with no rethreading. It features two rotating cup holders to keep your child happy, a machine washable seat pad, and harness covers. To continue to meet industry standards, we have increased the weight minimum from 30 to 40 lb.

We purchased this for a spare seat for my toddler. Our babysitter has a smaller sedan, and this fit really nicely alongside a conventional booster for my 7 year old. This was easy to install, has held up really nicely to easy wipe-downs, and there have been no complaints from my daughter about comfort. It was very lightweight, easy to adjust like other Graco items. This car seat is wonderful! My nephew can get in and out of it by himself very easily. The harness locks are very easy to lock into place. The head rest slides up and down to adjust for size and that makes it so much easier than having to move the belts. It has thick sides on the head rest and sides for better protection. We purchased multiple of these for our vehicles and are really happy with them. MAKE SURE IT’S COMPATIBLE WITH YOUR CAR FIRST. If your headrests aren’t removable, this will not work for your car once the height of the seat is pulled up. We have this in our 2020 Honda Pilot, 2015 Honda Civic, and my MILs 2023 Elantra. My three year old was needing some more leg room from the previous convertible seats we had (aka his feet were basically on dad’s head in the Civic), so we opted for this one after doing some research since it’s the last seat he will need. He’s 3.5 years old, 36lbs and 39”. He will be in the 5 point harness for a while still (the picture was just to test the strap height, I know the chest clip isn’t high enough, we weren’t actually driving). Things I love: the low profile. It gives him more leg room and he’s able to get into the seat easily himself, even in the Pilot. He said that the seat is comfortable and that he likes it, so that’s a plus. I was able to get a nice snug fit with the latch system. I am very crazy about car seat safety, so making sure it could have a tight install was crucial to me (tried to upload a video but it won’t work). I also love that the harness is no rethread. It’s such a nice feature. Also, all of the reviews saying the cup holders are missing didn’t read. The cup holders come turned into the seat for easier shipping. You have to slip them out of the holder and then turn it the other way and clip it back in. I promise the cup holders are there. ... show more

This car seat is great once it is properly configured and installed. It feels sturdy, safe, and works well in all three modes as your child grows, which makes it a very practical long term option. The main downside is the instructions. They are not very clear and make the initial setup more difficult than it should be.
