The GoMax Infant Car Seat also features PureProtect Fabrics are soft and fire-resistant without added chemicals, for another layer of protection to ensure your baby is always safe and comfortable. The seat's memory recline on the LATCH connectors remembers the the last install recline position for even faster install the next time you use it. No-Rethread Simply Safe Adjust Harness System, the headrest and harness can be adjusted together while your child is in the seat. I purchased this car seat for my third baby. I researched tons of car seats looking for the one to fit my needs best. This car seat had features I liked better than the other seats I’d looked at. The car seat has good head support for my baby, her head can turn sideways but not much. The padding is amazing as well, it’s just the right amount of soft. Although, it’s one of the heavier car seats I’ve owned, I feel that it would keep my baby safe in an accident. The car seat is not too bulky either. The color is soft and very pretty. I’ve had many compliments on how this car seat looks. Latching the car seat is easy too. Unlatching is just as easy. The absolute best feature of this car seat is that you can go baseless in any newer vehicle & it hooks directly into the metal parts of the seats. It is so SECURE. I actually ended up taking the base out of my car because of how sturdy it was hooked directly into the seat. My baby always seems very comfortable tucked in there. Now the seat itself is incredibly heavy, but to me that just shows it’s quality. It is easy to adjust the sizing & to figure out. Beautiful car seat! Graco is my go to for car seats because they seem to fit bigger babies a lot better than some other brands. Love the metal and leather handle, and it’s super lightweight! We don’t use the click connect option just because it’s not super easy to use in our car, the anchor points are hidden in the seat so it doesn’t work the best for us but that could just be our car! ... show more

This car seat exceeded my expectations. We had a Nuna before and didn't want to spend that much again so we bought the Go Max for our new baby and I was worried it wouldn't be as nice, but I was wrong. The material is actually really nice, it's not as heavy as I expected for a baseless car seat option. The sun shade is the only thing I don't like, I wish it could pull down further. The no rethread harness is AMAZING and has so many adjustment levels that you can get the perfect fit at every age/size. In my car I use the base, but it's SO convenient to just snap the car seat in when we go with a friend or someone else's car. It's been a dream while traveling the past few weeks and not having to travel with a huge base or deal with the seatbelt install that takes forever. We use the regular Graco adapter for the Baby Jogger City Mini GT, we also have a Chicco Bravo stroller that it snaps into perfectly. It technically works okay with the Thule Urban Glide universal car seat adapter, but I don't love the way it sits on it and wouldn't consider it fully compatible. ... show more

I ordered this car seat (received it July 17 or 18, 2025) for my new born he was preemie size when we brought him home. And the car seat fit him perfectly. I like the concept of this car seat and that it has its own anchors so you don’t need to have the base, which makes it convenient to switch cars quickly. My baby is still kinda tiny, but the car seat is still light weight. I’m a petite woman and have had no issues with this car seat. My only negative comments would be about the design of the car seat. 1) The longer canopy to cover baby is nice. But when trying to move the carrying handle all the way back it gets stopped by the canopy. It just becomes a hassle adjusting the carrying handle around the canopy. 2) I have issues with my base. Sometimes I can’t get the car seat to come unlatched from the base. And I have to wiggle the car seat around to make sure it latches completely when loading it. I wiggle it around on the base until I hear 4 clicks. My only complaints. I have not had to use the anchor system yet. ... show more
