Worth every penny I use 2-3 pods per load so I purchased the bulk pack it comes out to like $1 a load the smell is amazing but be warned it does fade a few days earlier than the chemical stuff if you only use 2 pods for a large load you do need that 3rd pod for max scent longevity. I have a bladder condition and this takes any odors out from clothes that got wet and sat in my laundry for a few days. It has reduced the irritability on my wrists I get from washing my hands and the sleeves getting wet. There is no reside that transfers to the skin. I no longer need scent beads or fabric softener or dryer sheets so it also cuts those expenses out of my bill ... show more

Overall, I like this product. I have found in cold washes (I do not own an HE washing machine), the packets do not always dissolve. But they also brush right off as I'm throwing the clothing into the dryer, and when I take the clothing out of the dryer, I don't ever see any white residue from the detergent. Usually there's very little. If it's a warm wash, there's none. I also purchased this because my boyfriend (despite his allergies) wants his clothing to smell nice when it's done. I try to keep as green and healthy as I can, Grab Green products (mostly) fit the bill of a comprise for both of us. There are totally green and toxic-free products like Greensheild, but despite it's ability and good sense, my boyfriend didn't believe it was doing its job. So this works. But most detergents that are reasonably green/healthy that have a scent, won't keep the scent all the way through the drying process. This one does. If you don't want the pleasant smell (I do not find it overwhelming), don't get the Vetiver scent. Try Greenshield if you want that. I find the Vetiver scent to be heavenly!! Overall, I find this product does a good job of cleaning the clothes. I will admit that twice I've taken a shirt out of the wash that I wasn't aware of any stains on and found kind of black, greasy looking spots. Both times they were new, red shirts. Both times, there were other older red shirts and fragile red/pink garments in with it along with red towlels... but these shirts came out with spots. The first shirt, I assumed it was my boyfriend who didn't realize he got dirty and didn't tell me. But after the second shirt, I wasn't so sure... and there have been a couple commenter's complaints here about that... I don't know! I've been using the product for maybe 6 months, and it's only happened on those two separate occassions. Everything else has been fine. Again, not sure if the spots were the detergent's fault or not... outside of that and a little undissolved product, I have had no issue. Product cleans well and my clothes come out of the dryer with that light vetiver scent that smells so lovely! ... show more

I decided to switch my laundry detergent to a “green” detergent when I noticed how many toxic chemicals were in a lot of name brand detergents. After reading reviews on a few different green detergents, I decided to try this one out. I’m so happy I did. I absolutely LOVE the lavender vanilla scent. It makes my laundry smell so fresh and clean. This detergent does its job and gets stains out and leaves your clothes clean. I never have an issue with the pods dissolving in my washer… I place one pod in the back of the machine then add my clothes. I feel the price is on par with other brands if not a little cheaper. I decided to switch to a more earth friendly laundry soap. I’ve tried quite a few and this is my favorite. I have sensitive skin and harsh soaps with fake overpowering perfumes set off my eczema. This one doesn’t have any bad effects on my skin. The scent is nice. Not overwhelming but light. Other “natural” laundry soaps I’ve tried begin with a good light scent when you first throw the pod or sheet in the washer but after washing there is little to no scent. I’m the type of person that enjoys sweet clean smelling laundry and this achieves that for me. I’ve only tried the vanilla lavender scent so far and I love it. Grab green 3 in 1 really brightens my whites. My son came home from college and did a load of whites and he was impressed with how bright white his whites were too! The one con I noticed is that with my really dirty work clothes (landscaping) or sweaty workout clothes…sometimes it does not get the grass/sweat smell out. Maybe I will try 2pods for those types of loads next time. Usually adding a tiny bit of bleach to the load (just enough to kill bacteria) solves the issue.
