"Easy Planing" extended rear pontoons and transom area allows for more maximum weight and larger motors with balanced stability. The 24 mm easy slide completely aluminum floor and seats are stronger, lighter, and more environmentally friendly than marine plywood and much easier to clean. Incredibly portable and easy to assemble or dissemble in 10 minutes.
  • All seams are HEAT WELDED and guaranteed to last in fresh water, salt water and extreme humidity. Eliminating the use of problematic glue and nose cones. The thick .9 mm, 1100 denier reinforced PVC material is UV, oil stain, and puncture restraint. White material protects against the suns heat, faded material and compares to heavy duty material used for white water river rafts.

We have owned many dinghys over the years [Avon, Zodiac, Walkers Bay, etc.]. We own an Inflatable Sports Killer Whale 10'8" and are very impressed with the quality and design. The designers obviously put a lot of thought into this boat-from the placement of the carrying handles to the quality of the aluminum floor to the heat-welded seams. It was easy to assemble and easy to put away. It planed very easily with a 9.8 Tohatsu with an additional load of 450#. So far, this is the best dinghy we have owned. Great dinghy boat, my husband and I love it. Got so much space and my husband put some Eva Foam, color gray with black stripes on the aluminium floor and now got this great and more soft look. Using it with a 15hp Suzuki in color white. Look flawless!!!

Installation wasn't too bad. Make sure you don't inflate it too much prior to installing the aluminum floor. I bought it to use as a dinghy on a 53' boat and added a 9.9 HP Mercury. Very happy with its performance and carrying capacity. It only comes with one seat, not two like the picture. I'll be ordering the second seat, but I wish I had known that up front so that I could have ordered it with the boat. Update: Been using it for 2 years now and still very happy with it. With the 9.9 HP motor it will do 19 mph. With 2 people 17 mph and with 3 people 15 mph. That is on a normal day with chop. On a calmer day you might gain 1 or 2 mph. With 1 or 2 people it gets on plane pretty fast and stays on easily, with 3 it struggles getting on plane and staying on plane. It can take a 15 HP motor and that probably won't change how fast it gets on plane, but will probably improve the top end a little and help maintain plane easier with 3 people. However, normally you don't max out the HP on these boats. I am happy with the 9.9 HP performance. ... show more

I have always had ridged inflatable boats (RIB) but needed a boat that I could pack up and travel with. After doing a lot of research I decided to purchase the 10,8 Killer Whale. I finally got to put it together and get it out on the water the other day and I am very impressed with the quality and the way the boat handles. I had a hard time putting the aluminum floor in the first time because I never did one before so I called the company and within 20 minutes they e mailed me a video on installing the floor. I have a 15 hp motor on it and it planes with 2 people with no problem. I’m so confident in this boat that I’m going to take it out into the ocean and all the places that I would take a RIB.
