These worked really well for slippery heels I wore to a wedding. They had excellent grip. I felt very safe walking in them. I applied the grips the day before the wedding. Giving them a good 24 hours to stick and cure. They were easy to cut, and stick on. I did cut a tiny square and placed it on the end of the heel (basic pump) but it had fallen off after within hours of wear it. The sole portion stayed on throughout the evening. I easily walked a couple miles that night across grass, pavement and marble flooring in a very humid environment. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is because I never wore the shoes again so I can’t speak to longevity of the adhesive on these grips. I plan to use them on another pair of shoes I wear more often and will see how long they last.

My wife owns CL’s and many of them can be slippery. Also, we wanted to preserve as much of that iconic red bottom as much as possible so we decided to try these out. They work well for heels as they are tailored for that design. We did have to trim them a little so that they would match the layout. They don’t provide additional comfort, just removes the noise that heels (or dress shoes) make. They are adhesive so they do stick on and are easy to remove off.

I have been looking for effective slip protection for several pairs of shoes, and this product has been effective and better than expected. There is a much better, secure feel when walking across smooth surfaces. My current anti-skid pads on shoes are black, and cause terrible staining on light floors and rugs. These do not. The adhesion did not seem very strong when applied, so that you could adjust the placement. I was concerned they would not last, but after weeks of walking, the padding is very firmly held. I lover the added benefit of noise reduction when walking on hard floors.

I ordered the clear ones. They are large enough for a high heel front sole, but not large enough for an entire shoe or a wedge style. They are easy to cut and apply. They work well to prevent sliding and clicking on the floor, but do not provide any cushioning as a rubber sole would. Overall, they work well as described, just be aware of the size.
