This machine has been a life-saver for me. I recently found out I have Celiac Disease, making fried foods a "no go" as they are almost always breaded or fried in the same oil. Now I can make my own and not worry about cross-contamination. It's quick (for frozen items, fresh take longer), every bit as crispy as deep fat fried, and bonus, better for you. Double bonus, no messy oils sitting on your kitchen counter, splattering your backsplash, and clogging your drains if you dump it down the sink. I'm not over the top about the touch screen, I would prefer buttons, but it functions adequately. It isn't the hardest appliance to clean, but it isn't as easy as running water over it and done if only life were that easy. I've recommended getting one to my family and friends. ... show more

This was very easy to use. I cooked bacon which turned out great and then I did wings. These turned out extra crispy and yummy. The only thing that I question is the recipe book timing. It sounded unrealistic that chicken wings would cook in under 10 minutes, so I went online to see different recipes. The timing in the book was way off. First off I purchased this unit as a christmas present for my wife who has heard nothing but great things about air fryers. Upon unboxing the fryer it appeared to be a very sturdy and solid design so we were hoping it would last. Using this machine is absolutely amazing and it works flawlessly from chicken, ribs, to even pizza. Also the recipe book is very easy to read and has plenty of great dishes so that is a huge plus. With all of this positive feedback there is one VERY large flaw with it that we are very unhappy with. After using the unit 5 times and washing it immediately after use the coating in the tray is coming up in spots and even appears to be rusting. Don't get me wrong it is a very nice unit but be aware of what lies ahead. ... show more

One of the top rated units on consumer reports for a reason. This is such a great value. Plenty of room in the basket, touch screen controls, temperature up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. The colors are more matte and not metallic like the picture seems. The non stick inside the basket should be treated like the non stick in a pan don’t use metal to clean it or take out your food or it will scratch the coating and it will peel. I use parchment paper at the bottom to alleviate some of the mess and possible scratches its way cheaper to just buy a roll from the grocery store than get those round pre cut gowise brand liners. The recipe book is a nice little bonus and there are some pretty good recipes in it. ... show more

I’ve had my air fryer for 3 years now- use it at least 2-3 times per week and it’s just not starting to rust a little in the basket. I previously bought a more expensive Ninja air fryer and sent it back due to defects which made it impossible to keep clean. I would definitely recommend this air fryer and will be buying another one! ... show more
