You do have to be pretty close to them to read them in 'person', but the app makes this unimportant. Very easy to setup, put the batteries in and let them rip. Also, I did compare the readings from device to device and they were almost identical (a tenth of a percentage on humidity was the only variation). Thought this was Wifi, and was excited to use this to control a humidifier, AND get the temp and humidity into Home Assistant. But it is bluetooth, and has to pair to a Govee "node" device, which the humidifier is. But the Govee Humidifiers are not well supported into Home Assistant (This is on Govee from what I found in ~1 hour of google), but the sensor works well, is seemingly accurate to 0.1F, and seems to sync very easily to the humidifier, where it adds a LOT of functionality, especially for a toddler/infant room, as it will automatically adjust to both the humidity, and temperature of the room, not just the humidity like some other units. ... show more
