I cannot believe I paid so much money for a Waggle device and a huge subscription fee! This works much better and is free after you purchase it! You cannot go wrong and the battery lasts forever. I use it in my RV when I’m out and the dogs are behind. You have numerous settings to let you know when temperature hits the limit you set. Connects to Wi-Fi. No need for cellular. Just a really great device even feels like quality. And once again, there is no subscription fee. Get it if you need a device to monitor the temperature and humidity with text alerts. 100% recommend.

We have purchased and used these Govee sensors multiple times in the past for various properties, to help ensure temperatures in our rooms and plumbing areas are safe in cold weather, and refrigerator temps are holding steady while we are away.. I have liked these devices a lot. They have typically been very reliable, and the phone app is very well designed. Unfortunately the devices I recently purchased died within 2-3 weeks (factory-included batteries). [ UPDATE: I am removing the other extraneous review details about the battery issue I encountered, and have modified my rating to 5 stars. After I posted my original review about the batteries prematurely dying, the seller proactively reached out and provided apologies and offered a full refund. Super impressive customer service, and well beyond expected!! As I said in my original review above, prior to this most recent order I have had great luck with these devices many times in the past, and I will use this refund to buy replacements. The Govee temperature sensor is definitely a 5-star product with 5-star customer service and support! ]

Only had my Govee WiFi thermometer H5179 for a few days. The initial set up and linking to my WiFi network took many frustrating attempts before being successful. I was almost ready to return it, but with seemingly no explanation, it finally made a connection . Since then, it seems to be working ok, and temperature readings are similar to other thermometers I am using in the same room for comparison. Further, I am able to access it from remote locations, which is the primary reason I purchased it .

This device is in my garage in Phoenix. I use it to see the temp changes as I swamp cool the garage. Very easy to setup on the Govee app. The small device has worked perfectly. Always connected, seems accurate and shows humidity as well. I have another temp and humidity device near the Govee and they both read very close. I also run 3 Govee water detectors in drip pans for my AC air handlers. I see all four from a central app. I'm very happy with the products and recommend Govee.

Absolutely love this!! As a new snake mom I love being able to check on Kevin’s enclosure to make sure the temps don’t drop while I’m gone! I have it on his warm side so I know he is at least getting enough heat. And it will even send you alerts if the temps go outside of whatever parameters you set!
