So far so good unlike other thermometers this one doesn’t change in the sun and his power by the sun the temperature changes when we get rain and when we get a hot streak. The last 3 thermometers I purchased I didn’t like because they had to much going on. This thermometer is easy as pie. Just throw It in the pool and let it do it it’s work. Easy to read. I have children who have submerged this product and it works great still so I would say very waterproof.

I bought this floating thermometer for our 11k gallon in ground pool. It’s way more convenient to look at its digital display that to use our old standard pool thermometer. It doesn’t matter where you’re at around the pool - you can see the display without having to try to bring it near you. Looks cute, works well, so far so good! Would recommend.

I've had this for about 8 months in Florida. It continues to work well. Our pool's heatpump has a thermometer, and this temperature matches that. So it's accurate. The string it came with became discolored and falling apart. But an easy fix was to use fishing line. Recommend

5 Stars – Accurate and Reliable! I’ve had this solar digital thermometer in my pool for over a year now, and it still works perfectly. It registers the temperature accurately every time and has held up great through all kinds of weather. It wasn’t very expensive, and I’ve been wanting something like this for years—so glad I finally made the purchase. Very happy with it and would definitely recommend!

If I could give ZERO stars I would. After just over a month in the water (just past the Amazon return window), the LCD switched from 82 F to “HH”. I emailed the company and was told HH displays if water temp is over 60 degrees Celsius (140 F). My pool is clearly not 140 degrees! BALDR customer service has been AWFUL. This is verbatim from an email I received from BALDR: “ Hello, we are very sorry to bring you a bad experience! Due to our large number of dealers and stores, as a platform customer service, we do not have the authority to provide you with a return or exchange service directly, we recommend that you contact the store where you purchased the product directly.” BUYER BEWARE! Sincerely, Baldr customer Service Team attentive to my complaint, but nothing yet resolved. Although it’s gotten good reviews, I can’t in good conscience recommend this product.
