The media could not be loaded. This Govee TV backlight is worth the money! I've been using Govee LED strip light and LED bulb string lights on my motorhome for a while now and decided to stick with their TV backlight since I already tested the quality and longevity of their products. Their LED strips are top notch and high quality. The LED strip I use in my MH is Texas-weather tested and still works until now. Since I have used the Govee app before, adding the backlight is pretty easy and straightforward. As long as you turn on the power source, connecting to the lights is always easy and I haven't had any problems. The size and length on the backlight LEDs is perfect for my application and as long as you clean the surface where you're planning to stick the light strip, then you wouldn't have any problems. The LEDs doesn't really produce any heat and the LED bulb colors are always on point. The app is easy to navigate and you have a lot of options on how you wanted to use your backlight. Everything your need to install the product is all included in the box and you shouldn't have any problems unless you bought the wrong length for your TV. ... show more

This is a great product! Very easy to install. They provide everything you need to put on the TV. Calibration is relatively easy. Might need a bright room for calibration on where the corners are but it’s not bad in a darker room. The colors aren’t perfect but I haven’t messed with any settings. After much research I ordered this for my Samsung 75” OLED. This does add another dimension to your tv. It performs as advertised. I read reviews stating how easy the installation was, I’m not a geek and it took a while. The physical assembly is easy, the calibration was not. I could not get the camera to work and emailed customer service and they QUICKLY sent info to resolve the problem. Once I got it working it is pretty amazing. The back wall reflects what colors are on the screen. The app is easy to install but not all that intuitive, I’m still trying to understand all the system capabilities, and there are MANY. Synopsis: I don’t know anything else that can add this much depth to your TV for around $100. It’s worth it, just read the instructions carefully and the videos were helpful, and have patience! ... show more

    • The best TV backlight I’ve seen / used
Size: 7.8FT for 40''-50'' TV
The kit comes with everything you may need to install. I used this on a 43” LG TV (UT75 Series LED, Model #43UT7590PUA) and it worked/fit great with no issues. The TV has limited space on the rear left (if facing screen) but it fits there with no issues and looks/performs perfect. Installation was a breeze and required no extra tools. I installed it while the the TV was mounted to a (full-motion) wall mount - I considered taking the TV off the wall for easier installation but I had zero issues with it being mounted while I installed the kit. I was surprised* how customizable everything once was downloading the app. I won’t be using it on “video” mode all that often, but it works well. The initial calibration took some time as the image showed up "broken" and I had to refresh it quite a few times - but once you calibrate it the first time you will not have to do it again. It’s got a ton of effect / theme options but you can also customize the solid light modes greatly in different regions - not just the colors but also the brightness of each region. I was impressed with all the options and ability to save themes you create. I’d definitely recommend this product if you’re looking for your first kit or to replace an older or dingy looking kit. This one looks great and doesn’t make the rear of the TV look tacky. The only change I would make would be to include some additional hardware to take care of any slack wire at the corners but that’s only noticeable from wide side angles and easy to fix yourself with any adhesive strips or electrical tape, etc. (it came with 2 spare clips and some spare double sided adhesive tape). TLDR; This is a fantastic high quality backlight with a ton of customizable features and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a backlight. * EDIT: I edited my review to fix a spelling mistake. ... show more
