These lights have been absolutely perfect for changing up the mood in the room. They make for the perfect movie ambiance, great for parties, and make for fun game days. They work beautifully when it’s dark but will also look great when it’s light out. It has a remote attached to the lights that go on the back of tv (or wherever you’re putting them) but you can also download the app and control it from your phone. Change the light colors or turn them on and off. You can link all the lights in the house to the app which is super convenient. The adhesive hasn’t given us any problems and we’ve moved since having them on the tv. only thing is once you stick them on something you can’t re-use adhesive. Work great & are totally worth it!!

The lights are fairly bright and I like that the LEDs are not so spread out which gives it a higher quality feel. But immediately after installing some colors dont show up on one led, some colors have a mix of colors in them(i.e. my white has some LEDs that look yellowish). The app is also horrible with the bluetooth not working well so I have to rely on the manual buttons.

These were installed permanently on an enclosed patio in New York for 2 years before some of the LEDs started to fail. They were great while they lasted and really did provide good value. I thought the App was easy to use but did run into connection issues near the end. I did not try too hard to incorporate them into other smart home apps since it seemed a bit clunky, so cannot provide detailed feedback on that integration. Overall, good value but I guess I expected another year or two out of them. Would buy again but am considering Kasa next time around for better integration and durability.

We have multiple sets of these lights and have never had a problem but this set when we put it up was stuck on blue. We tried all the normal things of deleting it from the app, unplugging, etc and nothing worked. I sent a message to Govee, got a reply in a couple hours telling me to try to reset them by holding the power button and pushing the middle button 4 times and then unplugging for 10 min. We were past our Amazon return date so they offered to send me a brand new set, no return needed.

The media could not be loaded. I just want to mention, the app control is a game-changer. Being able to control the lights right from my smartphone is super convenient. I can change the colors, brightness, and even create customized scenes to match any mood or occasion. Plus, the app allows for easy syncing with music, turning my room into a dance floor with lights dancing to the beats. The 64 scenes are an absolute delight. There's a scene for every vibe, whether it's a cozy movie night, a pulsating party, or a serene atmosphere for relaxation. It's like having a professional lighting at your fingertips! Installation and syncing was a breeze thanks to the clear instructions provided, and the ETL listed adapter ensures safety and peace of mind. The kit even came with alcohol wipes to clean the surface to apply the lights on. Slightly unexpected but very appreciated. The LED strip lights themselves are of high quality and brightness, creating a vibrant and eye-catching display. The adhesive backing is strong and reliable, so I had no issues sticking them securely to various surfaces. One thing I did notice and want to point out, the brightness isn’t the most consistent. The start of the strip is significantly brighter than the end. The lights also struggle with creating certain colors, because they are made by blending two LEDs into one. Overall, these lights are awesome and I would recommend them.

The quality is very well, I was worried the adhesive wouldn’t be strong as I’ve previously experienced that issue before, however this was really good quality, especially for the price. The lighting is very nice and being able to control it through your phone instead of a limited remote control is a good feature. Govee never disappoints with their LED products. Easiest to set up.

The media could not be loaded. These lights are amazing. The quality of the strip is so good very durable. Sticks to the wall great. Is says u should wipe the wall with alcohol pad first but i didn't lol the lights still stick great on the wall. Lights are very bright and the remote control works great to adjust colors and blinking patters. I got100ft and its very long i was able to wrap around the back of my tv and also half way around the ceiling. Its not an easy task putting these on the ceiling especially if youre putting them in a large space like i did you have to keep getting up and down and moving the step ladder its very tiresome and takes a while but the outcome is worth it. It looks amazing i cant wait to have guest over.
