This is soooo perfect for my 9 year old daughter. Such a nice price to go along with it. Quality is to my expectations. Only reason why i’m giving 4 stars is because of the smell it gives off. It is such a strong chemical smell that we have to keep it in the garage. We left it in the house while we were out shopping after we got it and came back to the whole house stunk and then I realized where it was coming from. Edit: The company reached out to us and sent a replacement hoverboard due to the original one being defective. We got this for our 5 year old. It’s the perfect size for her to learn on and she loved riding with her brothers, all on hoverboards. Unfortunately it stopped working after 5 or so days. The item arrived on time. It was a Christmas gift, so it was not opened or used until Dec 25. It worked well for 2 days, on the 3rd day however (today), it has stopped working and will not power on. We followed the instructions in the users manual before use and with the troubleshooting process. A replacement is being sent out. Hopefully the new one will be a better experience than this first one. While it was working, I can say that in auto balance mode, it was very easy for my 7y.o., 57lb son to use and get the hang of immediately.
