  • Great scooter, bad company.
Fantastic scooter with great features for the price, but its massively held back by gotrax themselves. I've had this scooter for a while now and I use it to commute to work everyday which is why I even bothered getting such an expensive scooter, that suspension makes those long rides way more comfortable and the dual motors have tackled every hill I've thrown at them no problem! What sucks however is for this price there is no options for a solid tire and that normally wouldn't be a big deal because this scooter has split rims so changing tires should be easy but the tubeless tires can and will go flat on you at the worst times, luckily plugs and sealants exist to keep you going while you wait on a new tire, which is where the real trouble starts. My tire popped so I went to get a new tire from gotrax, it has been 2 weeks since I paid for the tire and this whole time I haven't gotten 1 update, message or anything about my order and it also never arrived. So when I reached out to gotrax it took them 3 full days to get back to me about my order and turns out they hadn't even shipped the damn thing yet. Conveniently the tire shipped the day I heard back from their operations department about my order and its only now being sent out. My tire is barely hanging on and I really need a new one and I had to patch up my tire so many times waiting for a new tire that would have never even been sent to me had I not reached out. They really would have been ok taking my money and never actually sending what I ordered which is so crazy to me. This scooter really is awesome but once again gotrax prove to be a terrible company and business to try and deal with after your purchase. Honestly dealing with this makes paying 130 bucks a tire at a scooter shop to get solid tires seem worth it to never have to deal with them or their janky shop again. The scooter is a great deal but if you buy it, buy it knowing that you're better off on your own than trying to deal with gotrax wether its directly via emails and support or even buying replacement stuff on their site. Take your chances buying stuff on Amazon for repairing and maintaining your scooter because gotrax is completely useless as a company for anything else besides getting a scooter. Don't rely on them for anything else because you'll be disappointed and frustrated with the experience. Don't even buy their scooters directly, always get them from Amazon to ensure u don't get screwed over cuz some random person forgot to actually ship your order and only do so after you go out of your way to remind them u exist even after they already took your money. Buy at your own risk knowing one day it'll have an issue and you'll be basically all on your own to deal with it. ... show more

  • Poor Quality and Poor Support
The quality and performance of this scooter were utterly disappointing. Within a mere week of use, the front steering T-bar snapped in half from encountering standard sidewalk irregularities. For the past eight months, the replacement part has been completely unavailable. Dealing with customer service only added to the frustration—they curtly responded with "part out of stock" and then stopped communicating altogether. After spending $1,000, we are now left with a nonfunctional product and the additional expense of disposing of it in an environmentally responsible way. ... show more

  • Good adult scooter.
I’ve had this thing for over 6 months now. I mainly use it to ride up and down the street with the kids and around the paddock at races. Definatly an upgrade from your typical electric scooter. The dual motor and suspension really helps. For the speed, it’ll get up to its max speed of 28mph in about 15 seconds. It can do more going downhill but the speedometer will only say a max of 28. For the battery. You won’t get even close to the max range if you’re running the dual motor and going as fast as possible. But that’s understandable. You have 4 bars of life. When it gets below half battery, you’ll be limited on speed. By a few mph. But when you get to about 1.5-1 bar of life, you’ll be limited to like 8-10mph. So keep that in mind. You cannot turn off the blue lights on the side. Which is kind of a let down. You can unplug it I guess but that’ll require you to take it apart quite a bit. It’s very stable when riding. Takes a sec to get used to if you’ve never ridden one with suspension. Riding one handed gets a little sketch. You probably won’t want to be carrying anything while riding. You will also want to lock up the rear and skid to a stop everywhere you go. Just for the fun of it. You’ll have to resist the urge to do that if you want to keep the tire life alive! Although I’m at like 37 miles and my tires are JUST now starting to show its life coming to an end. And I’ve done a lot of skid stops and burnouts with it…. Now for the price…it took me some convincing and talking myself it to it to drop $1100 on this. The price is comparable to others in the same spec range but it’s still a lot of money. Watch for deals though! Prime day just had this scooter for 50% off! One last thing is parts. I haven’t needed any parts yet but from what I’ve been seeing is that the little parts that are available, are usually on back order. So note that if you’re considering buying this. Overall I like this scooter. It’s very fun and can handle adults abusing it. Just think about the pricing, battery life, and speed when considering buying this. At the end of the day though, I bet you’ll like it. ... show more

  • Extremely Disappointed
From the very first month, I started having issues with this scooter: first with the tires, then the battery, and later the charger. I reported the problems immediately and, since I had purchased the protection plan, I thought it would be an easy fix. However, I never received a solution that truly worked for me. What’s most frustrating is that after promising to send me a new battery, they later said it was out of stock—yet they still didn’t offer me a replacement scooter. I’ve spent a lot of money on this product and have been dealing with this situation for almost a year without any real resolution. It’s both disappointing and exhausting. ... show more

  • OK for the price point
Seems to have decent durability. Minus one star for not being rated for use in rain. Minus one star for issues with the button pad out of the box; both the minus button and the single motor button often do not work and seem to only work at random.
