I've bought this exact scooter before, just without the seat. my boyfriend needed a scooter to get to work with me, and I knew this was exactly where to look. the suspension once adjusted makes this thing pretty safe even on the bumpier sidewalks. it definitely feels safer than my brother's that we'd been borrowing, ours never slipping left and right over rougher spots. the brakes are smooth and not too touchy compared to other scooters, making stopping and turning really easy. on top of all that, it doesn't hurt his flat feet as much as other scooters. I'll likely get one for my brother when I can afford another one. my brother's scooter, by comparison, was half the full-price of this one, marketed towards teens, cheaply made, and is fast, but is also wobbly, has very touchy brakes, and slips off to a random side when it hits bumps, cracks, or rough road. this one is marketed for adults, but I would say that this would be one of the safest and somewhat cheaper options for any age, though since it's on the taller side, I can't imagine it being super comfortable for people under 5 feet tall. the scooter itself rides pretty quiet, mostly giving a light hum, the only noisier sounds coming from the friction on the road, a light hiss from braking, and of course, the bell. overall, I'd recommend this specific scooter(or the one without the seat, which I bought), for adults and teens alike, even if you need to wait for it to go on sale. I've been riding mine for 3 years so far, and I've only had to replace a tire, mostly due to the old broken sidewalks and poorly constructed roads. my brother's cheaper one has lost 3 screws, despite being assembled tightly, feels dangerous to ride, and is likely more for little tricks and stunts and breaking your arm than a safe and reliable form of transportation, if transportation is what you're looking for. I won't be adding a picture, but what you see in the pictures is what you get. in my experience, both times I've ordered from Gotrax, I've only had good experience, got exactly what I ordered, and was completely satisfied and even at times surprised at the quality.

This scooter has been a big hit in our family. It's been getting a lot of use for just cruising for fun and to get to destinations in and around the neighborhood. Overall I'd recommend this as a great all-around mix of ease of use, performance, and price. Some things we enjoy most about it: 1. Easy assembly and learning curve for using it 2. Light enough to carry and pretty simple to fold 3. Speed and battery life seem about as-advertised. It definitely feels more zippy than I thought it would be! 4. Feels solid and sturdy 5. Smooth, comfortable ride 6. The headlight is a nice touch and comes in handy The only downsides I can think of: 1. It's not waterproof, so you can't take it out when it's raining or wet out (or there's the possibility of rain) 2. There's no lock built in, so you'll need to bring a bike lock with you 3. The manual is a little lacking in detail and incorrect in some places

I got this as a gift for my son for Christmas 2025. He loved the addition of the seat and that we could remove it too. It was very easy to put together. Quality and performance are both high. We did receive an E5 error code 4 months after purchase and not many hours of use based on our weather/climate. I reached out to GoTrax support. Sidereal helped me with some troubleshooting and with images sent determined I needed a new motor wheel. Wheel came quickly and fixed the error! My son was back on his scooter instantly.

Don’t recommend this scooter. I got an error code and warranty covered the new parts, well now the same code is showing but since it’s out of warranty they won’t replace even though it’s the same issue.

This scooter was easy to set up and took less than 30 minutes. As a college student-athlete, GOTRAX scooters have been a life saver when it comes to recovery and making it to places on time. In regard to this model specifically, I really like how there are two speeds. There are plenty of bike lanes on campus, so I am free to ride at the speed that I desire, and having a faster scooter is really helpful and efficient. The scooter rides and brakes really smoothly, and it’s easy to make sharp turns, which I found difficult to do on other types of scooters. The bell is also loud, which can be of help. The only flaws I can point out is, as a 5’3” person, the scooter is pretty tall in comparison to the other models. This doesn’t necessarily make it more difficult to ride, but I felt a bit uneasy when I was first getting used to it. The other thing is that, because the scooter is larger, it’s pretty heavy. This makes it hard for me to carry it up the stairs or onto elevated surfaces.
