My granddaughter loves this toy and has had a lot of fun with it. However I purchased one at another store and it said it came with batteries but it would not turn on so I tried to open the battery compartment to check the batteries. The screw was so tight that I ended up stripping the screw and still could not get the battery compartment open. My granddaughter was so disappointed and started crying. So I then came to Amazon and purchased a second one. It arrived on time and my grand daughter was so excited. We tried to turn the toy on but again it did not turn on. I was able to get in the battery compartment easy on this one and as the package stated there were batteries in it but it would not turn on. I removed the batteries and put them back in to see if they were just not in properly but the toy would still not turn on so I replaced the batteries with new batteries and it turned right on. So I purchased 2 toys from two different sources and both came with dead batteries. Once we had solved the battery issue my grand daughter has been having a great time catching fairy’s.
