An item each household should have especially in case of an emergency if you have no electrical power. You can actually bake bread in this solar oven, a little on the pricey side but very very well worth it. The unit can travel with you or kept at home for when you need it or even wanting to not turn on the oven in order to save money on the electric bill. Opens up easily, aim it at the sun and It cooks your food super hot. I will suggest you place a piece of parchment paper underneath your food unless you're using the pans that are included for easy clean up. Haven't used the option to connect it to the cars 12volt plug yet but, so glad that option is available and also part of the reason for making this purchase.

I was a long supporter of Gosun but recently the standards have dropped to China standards of defective goods. The heater stopped working after 30 minutes. The heating element is cheap and not even covered. The socket heated and melted. If you buy a similar one for half the price it does the same thing except for the cheap heating foil for an extra hundreds of dollars. Gosun really destroyed their reputation with this model. I really dislike campanies that cut corners in the solar market. It gives the technology a bad rep

I bought the GOSUN Fusion Solar Oven and Cooker as a gift for my wife, who’s passionate about green living and sustainable products. She was thrilled at first—the hybrid electric and solar design felt like a perfect fit for our eco-conscious lifestyle. We used it for four meals, and each time it performed well: evenly cooked food, quiet operation, and a fun off-grid experience. But on the fifth use, the glass cooking tube shattered unexpectedly during preheating. No drops, no rough handling—just a sudden crack. For a product marketed as durable and outdoor-ready, this was a major disappointment. Replacement parts are expensive, and the warranty process isn’t very user-friendly. Pros: Innovative hybrid solar-electric design Great concept for sustainable cooking Compact and portable Cons: Fragile glass tube with limited durability Costly to repair or replace Not ideal for frequent or rugged use We really wanted this to be a long-term part of our outdoor cooking setup, but reliability matters. Until the build quality improves, I’d recommend it only for occasional use—not as a dependable green cooking solution.

This really does cook. It took about 30 minutes to heat up and then I roasted potatoes in 11/2 hours, which is about 20 minutes longer than in a household oven. It is very easy to set up and easy to clean. Enjoy!

The media could not be loaded. This product can be a life changer when you don't have electricity you can still cook it may take longer conventional than conventional methods but you can still get your cooking done. This model has the option for a 12V input and that works well also. I used it for camping recently and was not disappointed. To me it need full sunlight or it will take a very long time to heat up.
