After months of searching for chairs I stumbled across these, for the price you can’t beat it. The chairs we were looking at were over two grand, insane. I purchased two of these with the risers since our Baja shelf is about 15 inches high. Worked perfectly. These are so comfortable, they never moved unless I moved them, they are very sturdy and easy to set up. The pillows are comfortable. I ended up pairing the chairs with the step two pool side cooler table and a pretty scallop umbrella. Looks so nice! When you order a pool lounger, you’re basically investing in your future self’s lazy afternoons, so it better be worth it. The GoSports “Coast Modern” Lounge Chair? Yes, it’s worth it. Setup & First Impressions Installation was straightforward but not what I’d call “easy.” It’s much smoother with two people: one to hold pieces in place, the other to work the bolts. Once assembled, the first thing you notice is how hefty and sturdy it feels. It takes a minute to soak up water and settle in, but once it does, I haven't seen it move an inch... unless I want it to (more on that later). In the Water My baja shelf sits exactly at 15", and the chair sank right down and stayed put, after maybe 30 seconds of pushing it down. No floating, no drifting. I was initially surprised to see there’s metal sitting in the water, but I’m assuming (and hoping) it’s marine-grade since it’s clearly designed for this use case. Design & Comfort The sleek, curvy form, especially on the riser (sold separately), gives it a smaller footprint than most loungers, meaning it fits my tiny Baja shelf where others wouldn’t. There is a slight line where the seat sections meet, unlike the smooth surface of one-piece designs, but considering this was about 50% less expensive than those, I’ll take that tradeoff any day. Durability & Longevity It’s been in the water for a week with no issues so far. Solid, stable, and still looking great. I’ve already ordered a second, which probably tells you all you need to know. Besides the fact that people generally want to sit next to a friend on these things:P Value For the price, it’s a no-brainer. It not only elevates the pool’s look but also upgrades my lounging game. Pro tip: just get it in the water first. Once it’s "waterlogged", it’s surprisingly easy to move around despite the weight. Bottom Line If you’ve got a small baja shelf and a taste for stylish, stable relaxation, this lounger delivers in spades. Sturdy, handsome, and a solid value. Just bring a friend for assembly and prepare to spend a lot more time “testing” it with a drink in hand. ... show more

Great option for shallow water pool shelf. We only have 5 - 7 inches of water depth on our shelf and this is one of the few that allowed us to sit with a little bit of water covering the curved part of the chair. The built-in weights hold the chair in place very well but don't make it too heavy to be easily moved if you wish. It was nice that it also came with a pillow.     • Lousy design for assembly

These chairs are difficult (maybe impossible) to put together. First the two main pieces are heavy and unwieldily. Second the 5 screws are so short that it requires a lot of force to squeeze the lock washer enough to start the thread. And finally the receiving nut built into the chair does not align well with the hole for insertion of the screw. The only way I could even get the two pieces of the chair connected was to use only the bold without either washer. But even after the two pieces were together, I have been unable to get the bolts inserted and tightened with the lock washer and washer in place. WHAT A MESS! And how can I send these back? ... show more

I’ve been trying for 2 hours to put these together. Definitely NOT a one-person job! Called product support but they won’t get back to me until tomorrow. The screws seem too short. Would love to get another but the assembly issue is ridiculous!
