Every family should have one of these. It’s a great equalizer that does not depend on age or physical strength, just your reflexes and patience. Already my four year old is obsessed with playing air hockey and I sometimes find her practicing on her own to improve her scoring chances against mum or dad. Structure wise, it’s big enough for two adults to play, it’s a lot sturdier than I expected and can withstand some pretty aggressive whacks. The only downside is it can’t fold it away for easy storage but you can stow it under a table as it is pretty low in profile. This is a great Christmas present, or better yet, buy it before so it can be part of the holiday festivities. ... show more

When looking at the picture, I thought it would be smaller, but this is actually a really good size. It's pretty big, but small enough to stow away in the closet. I have a small wooden table and we were able to place it on top and use it and also use it on the floor. It was quick and easy to set up. Pleasantly surprised at how fun and how similar the game feels compared to the full-size arcade version. Straight out of the box, assembly was minimal and straightforward. One thing to note is that my pkg inadvertently came with two different sized hex screws (see photo) and only one hex wrench; but as along as you have extra hex screw drivers, you should be ok. One plugged and turned on, the air ports make the puck glide across the surface to provide the same feel as the arcade version. Because of the scale, there are some noticeable and expected difference. Because the puck is smaller and the airflow is limited, the puck tends to fly out more often. Perhaps it's just how aggressive our family plays, but it was a noticeable difference. Besides that, this has been a great addition to family game night. ... show more

Great looking tabletop game. Nice wood trim around the outside. I like that it plugs into an electric outlet, doesn't have to have batteries. Performs nicely, plenty of air for the puck to glide nicely. The game can be set on a tabletop or the floor. Hours of fun. Overall good quality item.

This is so cool! As a kid I loved air hockey and although this is a much smaller version, it's the same game and the same fun. Fits on my table and the cord is certainly long enough to reach an outlet. It is so much bigger looking than the description says. It is 40 inches but plays bigger. My kids love air hockey and I don’t have space in my home to get a regulation size table. This is the perfect compromise. Table is big enough to have fun yet small enough to store in a closet when not in use. The paddles and puck are smaller but they’re fine. It's true to size, but in person it seems bigger. The cord is long which is really nice. It comes with 3 pucks, and 2 paddles.
