Having read some reviews, I had pretty low expectations for his table. But we found it on sale for ~$400 and said, what the hell, let's add it to the game room. Delivery was great. It came 'mostly pre-assmebled' The kids love it. Yes, it could use more lift on the fans - but if your kids are 5-13y/o - this is great. The quality is good enough for the price. Particle board mostly. We had a problem with a sensor that would trigger a score when the puck hit the wall rather than going in the gate. That was a bummer - but I called a gal in indiana and she could not have been more helpful. My 5 stars goes 4 to the product and + 1 to the awesome customer service, who sent me new sensors and a new puck just for asking, and now the thing works perfectly after a minor fix. The kids play the hell out of this thing, and I gotta confess, I like it too :) If you can get this between 4-600 - dont think twice. its pretty good vaue and hours of fun. UPDATE May 2021 - We've had this 5 months now - One of the paddles broke, Posting this update for the exceptional customer service. New paddles and pucks on the way. This company could not be more friendly and helpful.

I just finished putting the table together and testing it out. I have to say, unless you get a defective unit, I don't quite understand the negative reviews. The small screws were a little tricky with my big clumsy hands, but it wasn't hard by any stretch of the imagination. Once assembled, it was pretty sturdy and the perfect size for our little game room. Now, don't expect a huge arcade sized table because this thing is very small in comparison, but if you just want a fun little item to add to your in home game room, this is perfect. I'm 6 ft tall and didn't feel it was too tiny for me. The light up puck and paddles are a really cool touch. One thing to note in the instructions, when it tells you to attach the goal wires under the table, you will notice the wires cross in the diagram so the left goal plugs into the right slot and the right in the left. This is accurate. If you accidentally plug them in backwards, like I first did, it's tough to pull the plugs back out and you feel like you're going to pull the wires out of the little plug housing. It's best to avoid this and plug them in correctly the first time.

We have a slew of elementary aged kids, ages 5-11 and purchased this air hockey table for Christmas. The table was not available on Prime, and we were pleasantly surprised that it was delivered before the estimated arrival date. Because of it's size, it was not delivered via a standard delivery truck but a private delivery company. They called a few days ahead of time to let us know what day it would be arriving and that it required us to be home and to sign for the box (sadly no specific delivery time was offered until a call came 1/2 hour before delivery). The gentlemen delivering were kind enough to bring it all the way into our family room, rather than leave it at the door. It couldn't be a surprise gift however, because a picture of the hockey table is printed in color across the huge box. The table itself isn't too tricky to assemble, certainly easier with two adults, but not necessary. The table is a great size for my 9yo+ aged kids and our youth group teens love it. It's a little tougher for the younger ones, but they pull up a stool and have a great time with it nonetheless. It's awesome that it can be played in the dark and the lights really do make a cool playing effect. Now the down side: 4 days into air hockey ownership, one of our fans gave out. We will be contacting Amazon and trying to get a replacement from the company. Will update when we know what they do. Additional cons: There is only one charging cable so you can only charge one handle at a time. Also, the only way to turn the table on and off is to unplug it. It would be nice if there was a switch so you didn't have to unplug it after use. Will update this review after we resolve the fan issue. UPDATE: Amazon recommended we contact the manufacturer about replacement parts. Called this morning, and after a long wait time to speak with a customer service rep, we had an easy, no-questions asked replacement part ordered and on the way. Knowing that we can get good service on this product and that they are willing to make this right, improves my opinion of the product and we look forward to a lot more use out of it over the years. I probably won't buy another product made by Triumph or any other brand owned by the parent company Escalade Sports (Gorilla, Silverback, Stiga, Lifeline, Arachnid...) again. The frame of the table was broken, the goal sensor needed to be replaced, and the LED puck is too heavy to glide. I had to explain to my kids that sometimes Santa makes a mistake. The Good: The dimensions were exactly what I wanted. I don't have room for an arcade sized table and didn't want a dinky toy sized table. The Bad: I bought this because of the light up paddles and puck for a room that is usually dark. The LED puck is too heavy to float and the red pucks are too hard to see with the lights down. If it had maybe 15% more power or if the LED puck was the same weight as the non-LED pucks then it would have worked out well. I may try putting a glow in the dark sticker on the red pucks or try to source a white puck with the correct dimensions and add a black light. Also the goals are less than twice the size of the paddles so the goal can be 100% defended by just parking the paddle in the middle of the goal (demonstrated in picture attached). Since my kids are smarter than the average chihuahua they figured this out pretty quick. The Ugly: When I opened the box to assemble the table on Christmas Eve I was disappointed to find part of the frame was crushed (demonstrated in picture attached). The box wasn't damaged and some other parts seemed off so my guess is this is more an issue with manufacturing than shipping. This was suppose to be the big gift for the family and doing a return on a 190lb item by mail seemed like too much hassle so I got out the wood glue and clamps and repaired it as best I could. Unfortunately that wasn't the only defect. We discovered on Christmas day that one of the sensors didn't always score when the puck went in the goal, but also would record a score incorrectly when the puck bounced off the side hard enough. I contacted Escalade Sports the parent company of Triumph by email to get replacement parts. It took a few days to get a reply and a couple weeks to actually get the parts, but I did eventually get what I needed and was able to replace the sensors and now the table works correctly.

I bought this table for my 13 YO son for Xmas. He was thrilled. It's a bit smaller than the tables in pay arcades so it fits in a smaller room. It's big enough to really smash the puck back and forth, just like the larger tables. The coolest thing about it is that it lights up! The table lights, the score board lights, the strikers light up...even the puck lights up. It arrived quickly after ordering, right on the schedule that I picked when I ordered. It was easy to assemble by following the directions. I was even able to assemble it at 3 in the morning with minimal tools, be quiet enough to not wake anyone early Xmas morning, and quick enough to get back to bed and sleep again before waking for real. Everything worked as it should right out of the box. The only problem I found (when I really got to inspect it at a more decent hour) was smoothly remedied by Ryan, the customer service pro at Escalade Sports. He was quickly able to figure out what was amiss, offer a choice of solutions, and had what I needed shipped right to my door about a week later, COVID-19 and all. Strong work! Overall - Great air hockey table. Good value. Good balance of features, size, and playability. Outstanding customer service. Great gift. I highly recommend it!

We could NOT be more excited about our new addition to our upstairs Gameroom. The box arrived via a freight truck. Yes, it's that massive. Fortunately for us, after reading other reviews about damage, we ONLY received a scratch on the top. Easily hidden by using a Black Marker. Assembly was SUPER-DUPER easy! Just needed to assemble the legs and add the design Placards. That's it. It took literally 1 hour. It did require that my 15 year old help me flip it over once the legs were screwed on. After that, the fun began. Yes, it is TRUE that the unit is loud especially with the fan running. But with ours, we can turn the sound off (there's no volume control that I can find). This unit has 2 fans. A simple addition of one more strategically placed fan would make the air circulation extremely more fluid for the pucks, but we didn't have that much of an issue. Our entire family spent a couple of hours the very 1st night enjoying it with the lights on and the lights off (the puck and paddles came pre charged). For $500.00, this is worth the money (short term). I say that because my 15 and 10 year old are heavy hitters! LOL I'm praying this lasts long. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give it an 8. Because: For only having 2 fans rather than 3 fans and for not being able to lower the volume on the console. Please see attached pics and video.

We purchased this as a Christmas present for 3 children (ages 3-8). It's perfect in size for children, and we can easily play with them. If you have older kids (teenagers), you may want to size up. It was easier to assemble than other reviews indicated from my perspective. One set of lights did not work on the table (of the 4 corners) and one pusher would not turn on. Everything else worked as advertised. Amazon facilitated outreach with the manufacturer to replace the two parts. We were supposed to receive a same-day call; we never did. We tried again, nothing. Amazon then gave us the number to outreach directly. We tried to call directly; no answer and no response. Amazon said we could initiate a return, which would require de-assembling and mailing hassle. I sent an email directly to the manufacturer, and received an email where I have to provide more information to try and initiate the process. It's definitely not worth it to try and get a simple replacement part. So in sum, it's a great kids' toy, has some quality issues (maybe a risk worth taking for some based on price), but the manufacturer is pretty crappy in effort and timing if you need a part. [and I'm willing to revise this statement if they ever respond]

Oh my goodness this air hockey table is so so great! My kids are cheering in the other room as I write this review. We have five kids ages 7 and under and decided to redo the garage as a game room for their Christmas present and an air hockey table was first on their list. This one didn't have any reviews but it's large size for the price made me choose it. It came via freight with super nice delivery guys and was bigger then I expected which was exciting. It does show what's in the package so plan on having your kids be gone if it's a surprise. Mine weren't which was fine but the garage wasn't ready so we set it up in the front hall. The lights and sounds are so fun but it's also nice that there's an off switch for that portion. The table is sturdy and the handle things charge via USB which is convenient if you have any phone plugs already in your house which I bet 99% of the population does. It comes with one lighted puck and two plain which is great as my kids loose everything! My seven year olds play hard and I haven't seen the puck fly off once yet! I'll update in a few months but for now I can say this is a "buy now" item for sure! Can't wait till my husband and I get a turn!
