I have a German Shepard and a Great Dane lab mix. Dog hair can be a big problem sometimes. But it really doesn’t stick to this rug like it does my carpet and furniture. It’s super soft and lays flat well. It doesn’t slide and it’s a pretty color. I have found my kids napping on it and they don’t get up covered in dog hair. Highly recommend.

This rug is amazing for both dogs and babies. I love that I can toss it in the washer and dryer to clean it. However, it is IMPOSSIBLE to vacuum! I definitely recommend the rug, but I want that disclaimer for future buyers. When I was scouring the reviews, I was excited about all the positive hype the rug was receiving. But not one review that I read mentioned that it couldn’t be vacuumed. I know I can toss it in the wash, but I don’t want to constantly fill my washer with dog hair. It’s a great purchase, but be forewarned!

As the 6x9 was too big to wash, we ordered two 4x6’s (Taupe) and they are super thin and have NO foam. Going to return them. No padding at all. The 6x9 was nice and thick for our dog. 6x9 is just too big to wash at home and while dog pee is easy to clean up, poop gets stuck in the carpet strands. Wet soft and my dog sleeps very well. *update - ordered grey 4x6 and they had nice thick padding like the original. Not sure why different colors would have padding and some not.

The rug came in a vacuum-sealed bag and once you open it, the instructions are to shake the rug outside and then place it inside of the dryer for a few minutes to fluff. It didn't really do any extra fluffing after placing it in the dryer but it is already so soft that I wasn't even mad. It only took a day of laying flat on the ground for all of the wrinkles to come out. So far, I am happy with my purchase. My 2-year-old loves having it in his room and even lays on it over lying in his bed.

Have several of these rugs.. absolutely love them when they first arrive but then... can't vacuum, can't steam, when they go in the washer anything that was stuck is impaled and unable to be removed and they are impossible to repurposed.. they end up being disposable rugs due to the 'fur' that is their signature softness.. Great for a clean room.. no pets.. no dirty shoes, no little toys or food. They are absolutely perfect to look at and occasionally walk bare foot on.. not for an active life.

Great rug, i primarily bought it because they claimed to be machine washable.i don't want to be stepping on a dirty rug every day. I was a bit skeptical after reading a couple of reviews, but I'm glad I went with my gut, it feels great next to my bed, my first step of the day is no longer a cold hard floor, but instead a warm fuzzy carpet. It's definitely machine washable, i live in queens NY, no laundry machines in building, so i go to the laundromat. I washed it in a separate machine and a separate dryer ( on medium heat) the rug came out like new, no mishaps just a fluffy rug.

I love how plush this carpet is and the look of it. I liked it so much I bought two! But it is not designed for a home with pets. The dirt and grass that inevitably ends up on the rug does not come out. After less than a year both of these rugs are so gross that I have to replace them. Great for households without pets or without a yard.
