I got this early on after rescuing a 12 year old neglected dog, who inhaled food faster than I though possible. This slows her down and instead of meal times of 1 to 2 minutes, it takes her 5+ minutes to lick the bowl clean. It's got rubber on the bottom so it doesn't move around either. A good buy.

I loved the style of this bowl, the color, & that it had a rubber grip bottom. Unfortunately, 2-3 weeks after purchasing, it's totally destroyed. The plastic is weak & breaks easy. Also, it is feather-light & because of the bottoms design there is no way to add a suction cup or sticky grip to the bottom of the bowl to keep it on the floor (and stop her from picking up & chewing). That being said, it did slow her eating down to probably double until her meal was finished. And the rubber bottom did stop it from sliding while she ate. But considering she likes to chew & figured out she could pick it up it isn't something I would buy again & don't think it was a good value for our pup. ... show more

This is a sturdy and strong bowl. it says it holds 2 cups of food. Technically, it does but I have to pyramid the kibble on top. This bowl is smaller than I expected. When I give raw food, it will hold about 1 lb of ground meat nicely within the "maze" but I still have to smoosh and pile it on top to make it all fit. About 1 to 1-1/2 cups of kibble will fit nicely inside the grooves. ... show more
