I picked up the Gorilla Grip rug pad after nearly eating it one too many times on my slick hardwood floors. This little 2x3 ft pad has been a game-changer. It’s surprisingly thick, and the grip is no joke and once my rug was on it, that thing did not move an inch, even when my dog came barreling across the room like a linebacker. I ordered this item to be used for something other than rugs. My friend has a bed that has 6 wooden slats and does not need a box spring. She is older and on the shorter side and her mattress is thick. When she tries to sit on the mattress, it slides around on the slats and I was afraid of her falling on the floor. So, on a hunch, I bought this grip and laid it on top of the wooden slats and put the mattress on top the grip. It works like a charm! The mattress doesn't slide around anymore and my friend is safe from falling on the floor. Great product!
