I bought this to mount my GoPro on my jeep's rollcage. I bought the one ment for a bigger diameter rollcage tube (of course) hoping that it would be big enough to mount to my jeep. When I received it, at my first attempt to mount it on the rollcage tube it did not fit... I then figured out you could remove the thick inner pad insert and still have a thin layer of grip rubber on the mount. After I did that it fit and mounted to my rollcage great, it has worked great for me so far. Great Product ... show more

Someone stepped in front of my bicycle while I was going 18mph and out us both in the hospital. Me with seven broken bones. After three months of healing I was ready to start riding again. About that time we found that the guy who caused it all was suing me! As I hit him and there was no witness that he stepped on front of me, my insurance is paying him a WTF amount of money. Thank God I was covered my my home insurance. So my wife said I could not ride again without a GoPro to record what is happening. I got a deal on a used one and needed to get a mount. I have a large handle bar, being carbon fiber. I got a normal sized mount and it was not even close to a fit. I'll use it on my backup bike. I saw this and did some measurements. Looked like it would work. Got it a few days later and it fit like a glove. No stress on the bar and the gopro slides on and off with ease, being securely locked otherwise. ... show more

-Very sturdy -Quality materials -Nothing has slop or feels loose Has a thick rubber ring for mounting to metal, it easily removes to fit larger pipes with a thin rubber pad for grip. has a great-feeling little paddle to lock in the pivoting top which locks in every couple degrees, 360 degrees. the attachment that locks onto your gopro actually has a little rubber insert to keep it from moving at all or from coming unlocked (which I've never seen as a problem but feels nice anyway) all-in-all, as an admittedly hesitant buyer, rest easy in buying this. if you plan on using it more than once or twice a year, or you want something you don't have to babysit while it's attached, it's well worth the price in my opinion ... show more
