The media could not be loaded. We installed the solar heater and it instantly and effectively warmed our pool. We have a small, 15' above ground pool, and we were satisfied until the hoses started acting up. First, one hose slid off, and we lost a significant amount of water. I reattached it, thinking it was a.fluke, but then the same hose all of the sudden had a.major leak (see video), and so I had to detach the whole thing. Now, we're trying to find new hoses. Of course, it happened about 30 days after our purchase.... Very dissatisfied with the hoses. I contacted the company in hope that they will help. Update: After reaching out to the company concerning.the defective hoses, they immediately took action to reconcile the matter. Their communication was excellent, and we were able to attach new hoses. Now, for the past week, we have enjoyed the benefits of the solar heater.     • Money down the drain
This thing is useless. Hasn’t changed the temperature of the pool, even by 1 degree. Instructions say to avoid touching the unit due to it being hot. Not even warm. Sunny, 80-90 degree days, it should be at least warm to the touch, but nothing at all. Save your space, money, and time.

    • Great price easy install
This is a huge difference maker compared to just the solar cover. Using it with intex ultra xtr 18x9. Running the pump normally on filter or “N” made a noticeable difference right away but it seems to add a ton of heat under the solar for maintaining warmth overnight. Only annoying part was having to order an extra intex hose and adapter for the heater intake. Easy to do but postponed install for a week since I didn’t think to order at the same time. ... show more

    • Hose broke & not warming water
These are new, set up last September. I bought 3 to warm my 8,000 gallon pool faster. So far, one of the hoses sprang a leak and had to be removed. We are in Texas, but, the sun was not that hot this past Fall etc. I do not notice any temperature change in my water yet...

Their service is very fast and very popular. The program worked well. We swam in 90 degree water. In order to connect it to my pool I had to improvise because my pool hose was bigger than the heater's connector and the small hose of the heater did not work on my pool connection therefore I did have a slight leak but nothing you can't live with, very happy with this product and I would highly recommend it ... show more

    • Works well, but 1 was broken
I purchased two of these, and they are easy to install and use. However, one arrived with a leaky joint, which the company promised to replace. I’m still waiting months later. So for now, I’m only using one where I need two.

    • Great heater
The media could not be loaded. Great heater!! I actually bought this because living on the north east we only really get a short amount of time to use the pool. It’s actually wish I would have bought this sooner to extend the season this year but I’m hoping next year we can open earlier (April) I have a 10x6 above ground pool and it heats the pool great. If you do have a bigger pool I would recommend reading the chart because you may need more than one panel. We were actually able to put the solar panel on the opposite side of the deck so it still gets sun but it’s hidden slightly and out of the way so none of the kids or adults trip. It heated up the pool fairly quickly and was super easy to install. This seemed to be a much better option than calling in an electrician and going the typical pool heater route. Cost efficient and environmentally friendly. I would definitely recommend. ... show more
