I haven't taken this on the water yet, but was able to do a dry-run of set up this wekeend in my garage. The instructions were not terribly detailed but it wasn't hard to figure out where to put the bladders and where to attach the accessories. It took me about 25 minutes to get everything set up but would be much faster the second time. I highly recommend doing a dry run of setup before taking this on the water. I was impressed with the quality of the outer materials, the fabric is thick and feels strong. The bladders seem like they are thicker than an older float tube I have. They inflated without issue and held their air after inflating. The pump that came with the set worked great, I would not recommend using an electric pump on this. The coloring looks like a high end float tube, I am pleased with the look of everything. There are LARGE side pockets that will be very nice, each side of the float tube have zipper pockets that are the size of a small/medium tackle box. I was very happy with the rod holder, I've used float tubes in the past without them and having somewhere to put your rod is so helpful when you're paddling. I didn't try on the flippers but they seem fine, I don't think they would be neccessary with the oar but it will be nice to have both. I'm really pleased with everything I got for the price I paid, great value compared to what I would pay at a store. ... show more

Ok this float tube is not bad at all, the price point is just right and comparable to the expensive outcast fishcat series floats. When I first got it, you have to place the bladders in the float tube body, and inflate to full fill the body. And the back support and seat are inflatable as well. Everything held air when I left it inflated. On the water you sit pretty high up which is great with only calf and below in the water. Now the only thing that I had an issue with was all the extra storage attachments. It comes with 3, large, medium and small. They’re not insulated so don’t expect to keep anything cool in them. It comes with a fish finder attachment and side raft pole holder. All these attachments are a lot and make it pretty cumbersome on the water. The storage attachments don’t sit upright on the raft and slide to the side which was annoying when trying to grab things that I needed. I’d prefer a raft that had built in storage on top of each pontoon. But overall it was great on the water and felt stable. ... show more

I love this boat. Setting it up was super easy, it came with instructions which I can’t vouch for since everything was pretty self explanatory. Seems to be excellent quality and durable, super comfortable, and light enough to carry on one shoulder. I took it fly fishing and it has more than enough storage for everything I need. I haven’t bought a fishfinder yet so I’ve been unable to test that feature but out of all the “economical” float tube boats on the web I’m really glad I bought this one, the price is really great for what you get. I bought fins from outcast to go with this and ended up spending more money on the fins. If you’re on the fence just buy it, it’s really worth it. ... show more

Worst purchase ever

Oh where do I start? The instructions have no pictures to visualize what they are instructing you to do so you're pretty much on your own. There's these weird patches in the pockets that I have no idea what they do. Now on to the fun part. My son and I take these down to the lake (I bought 2) and we start pumping up the pontoons, only for the cheap plastic on the pump to crack so air now escapes from the pump. So now I've gotta hold on to the hose to keep it in place with the pump as I'm pumping or it just falls off. It's seriously the cheapest plastic I've ever seen. Once the boats are constructed, I notice, there's no place to store a small tackle box on the boat. You have these 2 small pockets on either pontoon that can barely fit any tackle. You can't bring a small tackle box or cooler so all that has to sit on the shore as you paddle back in and out of the water. So now we put the fins on and sit down in the boat, and immediately the fins start to come loose. My son and I keep pulling the straps tight to keep the fins on but within a few kicks they just come loose again. I specifically bought this boat because it came with the fins where other tubes didn't. So now we look like idiots trying to paddle with the fins in our hands (because they were no use on our feet) and because we left the oars at home not thinking we would need them. Good luck trying to change your bait out in the middle of the water as trying to hold your rod and bait your line is less fun than jumping on a trampoline in a room with a ceiling fan it it. The whole reason I bought these were to be able to paddle out to areas I couldn't reach from shore and fish for hours without needing to go back to shore. Good luck with that with these. Lastly, my son's boat already has a leak in both pontoons and it's only the first time we've used them. I'm kicking my self for purchasing this garbage. ... show more

PVC bar broke

The PVC spreader bar is total crap. Be prepared for it to fail. Photos show how the coupling blew apart (it fits together in the middle) ... story below. Photos show a comparison with a 1" schedule 40 PVC pipe I am going to try to replace it with. Note also that the ends of the pipe are slanted to help it fit into pockets on either side. But they are very sharp. It worries me that they'll puncture or stab something. On the replacement, I softened the sharp points on my sander. First time out in the tube I stepped into the lake, but the mud was MUCH deeper than expected and as I kept sinking I lost my balance and went over sideways. The float tube came up behind me and pushed me forward head first into the muddy water. My waders started filling with water. I doggy paddled back to shore (the momentum from the fall pushed me about 10 feet out into the water) kicking up more mud as I clutched my fishing pole. The float tube held my legs out of the water so I couldn't kick. I finally made it back to the bank and was able to unbuckle the straps on the tube and escape. After I got out, got the water out of my waders and dried everything off, I made a second attempt. This time I backed into the water on a nice solid area with a gradual slope. As I sat down in the tube I noticed the spreader bar was bent in half. I thought maybe it had come unplugged, but discovered it was broken. Meanwhile the cap on the left pontoon must not have been on straight and I realized it was quickly deflating. I pulled the float back to shore and hauled it back to the truck to drain the water out. That is when I pulled the bar out of the sleeve and found the mangled fitting. Basically, the PVC bar didn't survive its first outing. I still haven't actually floated in the tube. Not a good first experience. Hopeful for the next attempt after making a new bar to replace the one that disintegrated. ... show more
