But better too full than too flat. These have plenty of support, have that feather pillow smoosh that forms up the way you plump it and stays there. I like to put one under my head and one on top of my head and they block out noise and light perfectly. It’s a little too bulky though for side sleeping/arm thrown over one like little spoon. I bought this because our old pillows had gone flat. It came nicely packaged & when I took them out, they fluffed up pretty quickly! I did go ahead & air fluff them as well. There's no crunchy sound & we love them!

I always sleep on a feather pillow. This pillow has the right amount of stuffing, very important…. The “but” is a curious one., it crinkles like maybe there is a plastic liner between the feathers and pillow case???? It’s weird, but I’m desperate to get used to it bcse I really like the density of this pillow. Update: the “crinkle” plastic noise has seemed to go away! I have one very similar that is that old, but when I have tried to replace it all other down pillows would be too firm no matter how they labeled them. Unlike regular feather pillows where the feathers come out and poke you, these feathers never poke out of the fabric.
