The product was new, in manufacturer packaging, sealed. The description does not specify "new", but based on another reviewer mentioning the same, I took a chance and am happy I did. The color was exactly the pinkish sand color of other Google smart home devices. As advertised, this was just the Add-On Access Point, which is what I needed for my existing Google Nest Mesh Wi-Fi System that I've had for a couple of years now. With this Add-On Access Point added to my existing Router plus 1 access point, I am able to extend my mesh network to reach to the full boundary of my property. I love this devices, however for some reason it seems that they will disconnect randomly, not sure if it's google trying to make you update to the newest version or maybe the signal not traveling good in the house. This product is great to increase your wife range and it's also a speaker, I have 4 and you can make a speaker group so youbcan blast some music through all the house. ... show more

    • Cannot be set up on a Google Pixel Phone
We've been using Nest WiFi with 2 points since the pandemic and it's worked great. Recently decided to add another point to extend coverage. Tried to set up on the Home App using Google Pixel 5 and kept on getting error message that the device "needs activation." When tried to follow the tech support guide for it, it kept on referring to TV. There are multiple users frustrated on the Google community with the same issue. So, when I saw someone recommended setting up with a non-Google phone, I tried it on my iphone and voila. Worked like a charm.... Then I remembered that I had previously set up the Nest system using a Samsung phone... Bottom line is Nest wifi system is great BUT nowhere does it recognize it cannot be set up with a Pixel phone, which is pretty ludicrous. ... show more

Google Nest WiFi Point (Sand) came exactly as I had hoped. Unopened, in great condition, and works flawlessly. Internet is working so much better on top floor of my home after adding the additional point to our Google WiFi system. Extremely happy with purchase and the obsessed with the Sand color.
