Don't normally leave reviews, but kept seeing bad ones and it didn't make sense. Got this unit in 2024 and it's been running flawless since. It was such an easy and quick install that I bought a second to put on a house I was working on. Fit and finish are great. I was worried about the shipper, but I checked them over before they offloaded. I'm a DIY kinda guy but used to do AC work, so I have a good understanding of everything. For people saying the unit doesn't cool, there's so many different factors that are in play—make sure you get the right size. Will purchase another one for an upcoming house. Works great. Replaced a Goodman unit with this one . I was able to use all the same duct connectors so it was just hooking up the thermostat and power. 2 hours labor.

Excellent AC Unit. Delivered in a tractor trailer, so had to use a pickup truck to offload by the main road, Trailer park too small for large truck to get through. Easy hook up, my daughter and I installed it in about 3 hrs, had everything ready to install. I have purchased several Goodman units, both types, and never had to call for service. Only one fan speed. Then 4 years later the compressor blows. Cost me enough to buy another unit. When I complained to salesman he didn’t even know his product.

    • Limit switch keep opening
I have this for 8 years without issue until last winter, the heater won’t blow heat, we check limit switch keep open, we have to knock it again and again, so that that heater blow hot air. I try to find out what cause the switch open, and try to find filter to replace but can’t location the filter in the furnace, not sure if it has one. Ask local technicians, they can’t find either.     • Don't buy this junk!
Don't buy this junk! In a few years it will break and if you think you have '10 year warrany' - think twice! The warranty is PARTS ONLY! So, you'll have to hire a tech to diagnose it (~$200) then they'll send you a replacement part (AT YOUR EXPENSE!) and then you have to hire a tech again, and he'll evacuate the refrigerant, do the repairs, vacuum purge the unit and recharge it (with all 'bells and whistles' that will cost you another $600 - $800). So, you'll get a $50 or $100 part 'for free', and you'll have to pay out of your pocket about $1000 - over half of the price of the unit! So, better burn your money - at least you won't feel bad about a lousy heat pump manufacturer laughing all the way to the bank with your money. ... show more
