I got this to replace the current tinted folding windshield on my 2006 Club Car Precedent. My old windshield was coming apart at the hinge and had a lot of scratches which made it hard to see through at night when lights would hit it. This new windshield fit perfectly, super clear, and I was pleased to get nice new shiny hardware as well. On my old windshield, the plastic clips on each side were much smaller and I ended up needing to reuse those due to snaps and mirrors that were in the way of the new longer clips. I was thrilled about everything except this windshield does not have the wrap around design like my old one. While not a huge deal most of the time, when I am using the canvas enclosure in the rain and cold, the old windshield would deflect water and cold air to the outside of the enclosure. This design ends at the edge of the windshield frame which allows water and air to come in through the front edges of the enclosure. This will not likely bother most people though. ... show more

We installed this windshield on an old EZ-Go Marathon - not what it was designed for I know, but the width and height dimensions were perfect for our cart. The plexiglass is perfectly clear with no distortion, and thick enough to provide good protection from the cold wind when we drive in the cool mornings and evenings. Oh and bugs! It is SO nice to not have bugs slapping us in the face! The hardware is very good quality, and installation was simple... although to fit our cart, my husband trimmed off the bottom curved corners of the lower windshield using a Dremel tool to fit our cart's flat cowl, and trimmed out a couple notches so it would fit inside the utility basket brackets he built, which also mounts on the windshield frame. He also cut down the clamping channels since we have side mirrors that we didn't want to relocate. The only concern will be the one-piece flexible hinge - hopefully, that holds up to years of UV light and changes in temperature. If it doesn't, we'll likely be replacing it with normal hinges. Overall, this is a nice addition to our golf cart, and I do recommend it. ... show more

I bought this to replace my current scratched windshield on my 2016 Club Car Precedent. This was a perfect fit and looks pretty close to the OEM windshield I had. The major difference is now I can see out of it. I like how easy it was to bolt up. I should have removed the protective plastic layer before attaching it to the windshield that would have been easier, but I wanted to make sure I didn't scratch it during installation. The tint is pretty light on it and doesn't affect night time driving at all. It does provide some shading during the day, but you will still need sunglasses. The thickness and feel of this replacement golf cart windshield is definitely similar to the original but new! When my original windshield came from the dealer it was over tightened and soon cracked, and the crack spread of course. I have a Club Car from 2020, but it is an Onward model, not a Precedent. It fits really well, perfectly. There is a small gap at the bottom of the windshield but that is easily filled. I'm not sure why after market parts are so much more common for Precedents than they are for Onwards but it seems like most are interchangeable. Installing the window took probably 5 minutes. Don't over tighten the two screws at the bottom! This model is lightly tinted, I am a fan! Be sure to take the protective film off both sides before installation or you may end up with some "forever" film left in the bind points. This windshield is nicer quality than the original one from when I bought the cart. The fit was perfect and came with all the equipment you would need. Installation took only about 10 minutes. The tint is not very dark at all, but helps with those sunny days out on the course!

The acrylic is a nice thick material that feels sturdy. The mounting brackets make it easy to install. I had to move my mirrors around to make sure the rubber catches on the top fit, but other than that it snapped right in fairly well. I do like the slight tint to the acrylic. The hinged windshield and the rubber clips at the top make it simple to fold down when you want. The thickness of the acrylic gives me the feeling that this will last a good long time and the price is more than fair when comparing other brands and types.     • Amazing how much difference a little tinting makes
In Florida, the sun is HOT, and BRIGHT. Well, I guess that's true everywhere, but I seem to notice it more when I'm here because I'm out in it all the time. I replaced my mostly-clear windshield with this one because my hinge was starting to wear out. I'm amazed at how much better the cart looks, and how much cooler I stay during a round of golf.
