I installed this on my golf push cart. The lever that secures the umbrella is designed very poorly. Tried two different golf umbrellas and both did not allow for the lever to secure it. It basically works on friction other than the screw down part, and the handles of the umbrella have to be an exact size to work. Additionally, it took 3 uses with no wind to start to break it. It started wobbling after the first use. I think the concept is fine, however the quality of the plastic and the actual design doesn’t work. If you needed something for use for a few times this may work for you, but unfortunately it’s not quality enough to withstand actual practical use.

Installs easily just below the push cart rubber hand grip. Weight of the 62" umbrella is held securely and is stable. Ah, portable shade!

Very well made! Highly recommend! Was able to hook onto my mothers motor chair without a fuss and the bottom tightened tightly so it didn’t budge.

I purchased this for my fiance's birthday. An avid golfer!!! This devise would not hold the shade umbrella. The umbrella continued to turn and slip to the ground. It was AWFUL!!! I felt so bad, that I went and found another birthday gift for him. He never complained or said anything, I was the one that felt bad about the whole situation. I should have taken note from the other reviewers. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS ONE!!!

I bought this for a sun umbrella for my golf cart but it isn’t strong enough to hold it upright. I’ve put wood pieces in the gaps with lots of tape to help support it. Just not good for a heavy umbrella ☹️
