This Golf Cart Phone Holder arrived in a small cardboard box with the following content: 1 phone holder with quick lock and release lever 1 pole clamp *No install instructions, user manual, nor leaflets in the box. The phone holder weighs about 3 oz. The main material is black plastic with a thickness ranging from 2.05 mm to 3.08 mm. Inside the phone holding space is lined on both side with orange rubber or silicone material to prevent scratches or damage to the phone and to absorb shock. This lining is about 1.5 mm thick with raised ridges up to 3 mm to add more protection. The back of this phone holder has a socket for 17 mm ball mount. - At the MAX opening size, it could accommodate a phone with the width of 3½" x 5/8" thick or 88.94 mm width x 15.85 mm thick. The dimensions of the phone holder at max opening is 4¾" wide x 3¾" tall x 2-1/16" thick without the clamp base. - The MIN opening size of the phone holder is 2-3/8" or 60.3 mm. At this minimum setting the lock lever will not work to pull down to clamp. The phone holder dimension at MIN opening setting is 3-23/32" or slightly bigger than 3-5/8" wide x 3¾" tall x 2-1/16" thick without the clamp base. The pole clamp weighs in at 4.33 oz with maximum jaw opening clearance of 1¾" or 44.45 mm. The minimum size diameter this clamp can grab onto is ¾" or 19.06 mm. The material of this clamp is of a harder, heavier, and stronger than the phone holder. The width of the clamp jaw is 1-3/8" or nearly 35mm. The depth of the clamp from the front of the jaw to the back of twist knob is 3-3/16" or 81 mm. The height of the clamp from the top of the 17 mm ball to the clamp base is 2-7/8" or 73 mm. There's also an at least 1.5 mm black rubber lining on both insides of the jaws to improve grip and prevent marring the poles that it will be used on. The 1-3/8" width of the jaw plus the rubber lining will provide a very firm grip and hold for the clamp and easily bear the weigh of the phone holder and any phone. This pole clamp is really well build and will probably out last the phone holder and the phone itself. **N.B. Please ignore the the 5th picture in the item listing labeled "Wide Compatibility." I don't know what they are measuring for the widths and heights, etc at 0.06" , 0.12", 0.26" 0.30", nor 0.31" and they probably don't know either. Refer to my measurements above for more accurate measurements. Anyways, this golf cart phone holder product can attach to poles size from 3/4" to 1¾" and can hold phones from 2-3/8" to 3½" wide and up to 5/8" thick. This a very solid and good quality product that's built to last. This could be mounted on any fences, pole, table, or even a car visor. Other than no documentation with the product and the incorrect measurement on image 5 on the listing, the product is nearly flawless. I would gladly recommend this product for the design, material, and durability.
