This is a really solid, reliable charger. The casing is aluminum, so it does a good job of keeping heat under control, and it is weatherproof. It all seems sealed appropriately and is very sturdy. The power and charging rate is accurate and even. No threat of damage or underwhelming performance there. Charging time is not bad at all. Overall, this is well made and worth the bang for your buck.

18 AMP 36 Volt Golf Cart Battery Charger for EZGO TXT with D Style Plug for Lead Acid Battery, Automatic Power-Off Protection, Heavy Duty & IP67 Waterproof, Fast Heat Dissipation I needed a replacement charger for my cart and needed one with the powerwise 2-Pin D Connector. The local pro shop wanted over $600 for the "factory" replacement one but I saw this and decided to give it a go. It is much smaller than the factory one but the factory unit has a bunch of dead space in it for extra ventilation. This one has a fan on top to vent the heat. It charges just as fast as the original charger, without the humming noises that the old one made. You could buy 5 or 6 of these for the price of the factory unit so I don't think you can go wrong with this one as it is a solid value for the money.

These golf cart battery chargers are great! They are easy to use with a simple plug in the wall and plug on the cart... just make sure you have the right cart plug end for your cart. They are small/compact in size and lightweight. They charge pretty quick, and have a fan to keep them cool. Just a great battery charger.
